Quoting: Grey Eagle Stay safe this Spring (and now), TunedOut. Do you have an inground bunker/shelter there? You bet :) I'm sure the town has a few shelters. Haven't gotten around to checking that out yet. Maybe I should stop procrastinating, because there's no real secure refuge in my immediate area. A tornado would flatten this place without flinching. |

On the XM (Sirius) radio and in those truckstops. This cut got played-to-death even moreso on those long roadtrips.. "Oh no .. not that fucking song... Again???" :fireplace: "Remember when we used to treat colds and flu with chicken soup, saltwater gargles and warm tea instead of Communism?" |

Well, you could always construct a small bunker structure on your property out of concrete blocks (into a hillside/slope or covered with dirt/earth). Give it a sloped HD ceiling and treat it with waterproofing/asphalt-coating/sealer to keep it dry. Make sure you have a screened-vent for pressure-equalization, and to enable your wi-fi to keep us posted during a tornado (kidding). :fireplace: "Remember when we used to treat colds and flu with chicken soup, saltwater gargles and warm tea instead of Communism?" |
