Re: GLP-Jukebox
Eagle, it was my first time skiing, but I remember we had a contest on the final day. A friend of mine taught me to ski, so I didn't have to do the first year class, went to second.

And I remember going "downhil" on that contest wearing a green bathing cap. Was kinda hilarious. And I even got 2nd in that!

Definition of Jukebox Standard Time (JST; Jay-Es-Tee):

Timezone on www.godlikeproductions.com where people from across the globe gather to share musical taste and/or other emotions. Once entered, actual timezones, distance and space become subordinate to the Jukebox Standard Time.

Here's Tahoe's Daron Rahlves once again, IM.

The ONLY American to ever actually WIN the famous Hahnenkamm Race.

This is the toughest ski-race course on the World Cup Tour.

 Quoting: Grey Eagle

I love the Winter Games. And downhill. I went skying once, in the Dolomites. So beautiful. And been to Austria and see the Hahnenkamm mountain, in summer. It gives you even more chills on how they are able to go downhill there at those speeds.

And I used to have a ski game ORF Ski Challenge I think, with all these tracks. So cool.
 Quoting: InterMezzo

Ironically, I broke my arm once on a DH course that was iced-up for a week. I was merely crossing at 90 degrees to it and I lost a fat-powder-ski edge and instantly fell on my arm on the hard ice below. Had to be gurneyed down 2000' of vert to the pkg lot where i then drove home (w/5-speed manual) for 5 hours!

Couldn't take my ski jacket off at home so I cut it off with a razor knife. Then surgery and lots of titanium drilled into my upper humerus that week.
