Finally some good stuff: Julia who moved to Boston in Nov started a job for a real estate lawyer this week.

Bryan turned 29 yest. His chef job is coming back but this time as a sous chef. Crossed fingers. Ravinia?? He and a friend are taking a road trip to California to see another friend. Check this out: my son has never seen a MOUNTAIN. They have a fantastic itinerary (sp?).. Denver, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, parts of Utah, Joshua Tree Nat park and much much more. I did this stuff while in college. He worked since high school and got two degrees. Already has tire chains for Flagstaff, lol.
I say GO FOR IT!!!!

Have to have a new furnace, news as of yesterday. Eh. Not worried though Arctic temps coming SOON. 2 hours north of here near Ottawa, they have white out conditions and roads closed. We don't have a single flake and none on the ground. Crazy weather for a crazy world.

Been lurking and seeing you damn chipper lately. Like it.hf

Lol. But then I'm occasionally schizophrenic, if you must know.

Hope your son enjoys the big roadtrip. I'm jealous. Tell him to enjoy the change of scenery out west here!

And dip his toes in that cold Pacific Ocean. It's been warm and sunny here lately - perfect Beach Weather. Although next week I see more partly cloudy weather in store.

Tell him to avoid Los Angeles, also, as it is not the REAL California. Los Angeles is just an anomaly and a weird one-off aberration, nothing more.

Better to visit the mts nr Wrightwood and Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. Or maybe even Idyllwild and Pine Cove up at 5500'-6300'. And San Diego and Palm Springs and Santa Barbara and Dana Point/San Clemente and Catalina Island..
