Kalapana is so nostalgic My family is from the Windward side and I grew up listening to all the above too, love Hapa and Keola Beamer and Cazimero Brothers. I'm actually on Oahu right now I can't believe you haven't been back since 85. It's changed so much. Glad there's another slack key fan here! I should have never left... I used to love camping out at around Bellows beach on the windward side. Catching good swells at Sandy beach and others. Seeing the crowds now at the popular breaks is nuts! Hope not to many 7-11's and hotels gone up. Loved Maui, laid back. Hope it is still green  That is so nice - and thanks for some of us who have never been there :) |
