It's probably relatively harmless. Not that they shouldn't try to fix this because I doubt it's COMPLETELY harmless, but it's not like it's super radioactive or something.

and yes we know it was fukushima, why keep paddling in a puddle about it... they reported extensively about adding boron to the cattle feed there in the earlier days to soak up radiation to the milk supply, so this is extremely plausible....

I used to live in Maui. You could see the island where the military used to practice bombing from the South shore. It is called Kaho’olawe. I wonder if that has anything to do with it

From deciphering the half life of any element detected (short-life), it is possible to deduce the source by nature of the dated material. Longer life material are harder to determine, however - use electrospectrometers and other tools, it is possible to work out the "other" elements collected in the sample. These 'elements' can be deduced to only come from a particular source/location/time in reference to the source.....

do that.. and they will pinpoint the source....

to put it in lay terms (which you seem to require) A BMW, Citroen, Mini and Mitzubishi are all vehicles right?... I can tell you from inspection which one comes from Japan....... ;)
