Mwalk Low Earth Orbit User ID: 1067150 United States 12/07/2012 01:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ha! That might be the case with some people. I fire a .500 mag one handed no problem. What's really fun is to fire two .500 mags at the same time. Good shit. Sounds like fun. Nickel or GMG. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3946954 took a bit longer to happen vs. the handgun, but my brother has the rifle version of the judge and even it is starting to have issues... only been shot a little over 50 times. |

Lester User ID: 29066040 United States 12/07/2012 03:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A 4" S&W 629 is extremely versatile, but N frame large... The J frame .357mag is extremely interesting, but the small frame .44 would really be The Ticket... Load it with Specials and moderate velocity handloads and you really have an all-purpose very controllable piece. The K frame 66 is also very nice or a model 19 in blue or nickel. The 2.5" is pretty concealable, but hard to control with factory magnum ammunition. The .357 is really a full-size proposition like with 8" barrel to obtain the velocities you'd like to expect. A heavy frame gun, N frame is a must if you're gonna shoot factory magnums routinely. .41 magnum is cool, but no reason not to go .44. .45 Colt is very fine, but not available in small frame. Ruger Redhawk is reportedly a fine gun. I have a Super Redhawk and like it very much... .454 Casull, 7.5" barrel, would be ideal if it came in 5" for carry or holster use. The 329 though would be my choice for manageable power and versatility. .44mag for a handloader can do about anything. |
