Tornadoes in Dreams

My oldest came home from her dad's house yesterday and told me she had a dream that she died in...

She said she was doing a hand stand on a picket fence and slipped and got impaled. She said she turned into a "ghostie" and tried talking to everybody, but nobody could see her.

Ironic that we just had this conversation. :-)

earlier I was running around the house cleaning and my kid was watching a movie and I was listening to it background noise ha... and I heard 'time travel'....

bam hit me..... thats part of my dream from last night

but thats all I got the full dream hasn't come to me yet ill have to wait....... I hate not remembering dreams when I know its prolly really important....


also a name there was another dream... sometimes I have many dreams the name was Lea or Lee after I heard the name in my dream cause I saw someone face they were talking to me but I wasn't me but in someone elses body and this woman with short dark hair I think she had reading glasses on I cant remember she was sitting down talking to me she called me lea or she said something to me and was talking about this person named lee ..... its when she said it the dream ended and I felt really weird.. and thats when I think the next dream came in that i cant remember..

A line of damage is what is left in Baker, LA where officials say a possible tornado touched down Monday morning.

Baker, La Police Chief Mike Knapp says a tornado caused damage in Baker early Monday morning. The National Weather Service is en route to make an official determination.

The Baker Fire Department reports 150 properties were damaged by the storm. A "walking curfew" is in place from dusk until dawn. This means they will let you go to the store, but would prefer to keep streets clear so they can get the lights back on and the debris cleaned up.

Chief Knapp said it damaged the roof of a car wash on LA 19 in Baker. He said the area along South Magnolia Drive also received significant damage.

There are also reports of damage in the Lincoln Heights Subdivision off New Rafe Meyer Road in Alsen, which is near Baker. It is located south of South Magnolia Drive. A resident there said a neighbor's carport is in another neighbor's front yard.

People said there were two downed telephone poles, downed trees, shingles scattered about and damaged mailboxes in the neighborhood.

There were reports of damage from the Pride area as well. It has not been confirmed whether the damage was caused by a tornado. The rooftops of several sheds were seen scattered about. One witness said the damage was from LA 64 to Peairs Road. [link to www.wafb.com]









Mississippi storms produce flooding, tornado

Monday's early-morning storms produced flooding, knocked down trees and spawned at least one tornado.

The National Weather Service in Jackson said a survey of damage in Marion County confirmed an EF1 tornado formed at 8:19 a.m., southwest of Columbia. It had maximum winds of 100 mph, a width of 100 yards and a path length of three miles, authorities said.

The tornado snapped and uprooted several trees and destroyed a couple of sheds and a gazebo, weather officials said. A metal carport was also blown onto a house.

Walthall County emergency management officials said what is believed to be the same tornado damaged a barn and the roof of an office building Monday morning.

I actually dreamed last night...woo hoo! Fell asleep in my youngests bed after reading him a story. LOL You were right about me not getting enough restful sleep. :-) I've been staying up til 3am most nights and then getting up by 7. Not enough time for REM. Interesting. I dreamed about tornadoes too last night. I had to choose between grabbing my toddler son and letting my Grandpa know (who was deaf) that a tornado was coming. My grandpa already passed away in real life but I knew that in my dream somehow.

It's been a while.

I think dreams can have a lot of different meanings.

Something I do with dreams is to look at them as all a part of myself. After all, my mind picked the symbols. And I feel the mind is communicating with me and I sure want to communicate with it.

Anyway, the next day, I meditate and get into the dream...and play each part (esp. parts that make no sense or you want to know more about)...and let each part speak.

It's surprising what comes out.

I've been a house, a room, a bully, a transformer, all kind of things, LOL!

Another thing I learned to do is to write dreams in a journal. And, I try to get something the next day that was in the dream. For example, if I dream of a rubik's cube, I buy one.

These are ways to honor dreams and I think it makes them easier to access their meaning after doing all of this for a while.

One last thing, in Hindu astrology, the night is divided into 4 yama's. (it means parts) I don't know the exact times of them, but I'll type what it says.

My dreams around 6 AM come true within one month. You might have to guess, but if you keep notes, you can figure the times out eventually.

Have had dreams bout tornado's since the time I knew what a tornado was. They are always recurring, have had countless of tornado dreams in my life. I have a few recurring dreams that have been with me my entire life.
Tornado's
Climbing a high structure
Driving on a large road
Huge bugs
Shattered and broken teeth (more frequent in my teen years, has to do with self image I have heard)
Massive invasion by aliens or monsters

Oh yeah and since a couple of years I have been able to always get myself out of scary situations in a dream. Like when I am chased and I find myself corned I just imagine I am in a game and I can just respawn :P Always works :P Never been afraid in a dream since. Actually enjoy nightmares nowadays cause they are so intense.

Sometimes, my favorite dreams are the ones that can be taken literal. That you don't have to decipher and figure out. They are as plain as every day life.

I had a dream last night that involved a family member and the guy I am seeing. They became gay together and were trying to explain their relationship to me. In the dream i was extremely jealous. explain that one to me.

If Dorothy, Toto, and the Wizard start appearing, I think the meaning will be clear.....

I think you might have dreamed some truth this time, tornados definitely on the scene this year.

Let me tell you, watching a tornado live on TV rip through a suburb is pretty attention grabbing.

It was almost like watching a disaster movie.
