They want to be left the hell alone, to work and live on a cooperative and voluntary basis – and not at gunpoint for the “greater good.” They sniff the stink of BS when they hear talk of “safety” and “security” and that it’s all for “our own good.”

I agree with Eric, most of today's youth are very libertarian. They don't want to be told what to do; they won't tell you what to do; they question authority and just want to be left alone to do their own thing.

It's a beautiful thought to think this generation might actually save America.

Everyone has already begun bashing the current generation of young folk and we haven't even given them a chance to shine...

Where are all the young people at?

You all should be proud and embrace the notion of liberty.

As one of those young people who started reading lewrockwell.com in 2000, I can say this article is accurate. No one of my age group wants to be told to do anything anymore, because our entire lives have been adults and authority figures demanding us to do things that don't stack up against any kind of basic morality. And then we found out how much of their orders and ideas were driven by personal greed or collectivism, and its spurned us even further from their ways of thought.

I just wanna live my life, I don't wanna be told what to do all the time, there is nothing wrong with most of these kids on ritalin, there is everything wrong with the schools and the government, and our corrupt and disgusting way of life. We are bleeding everything dry, there isn't going to be a future unless we start saying NO more, and stop playing into the game that has been constructed around us.

Don't pay your bills, don't pay your taxes, default on your loans. If enough people stop playing the game and get out of the System for liberty and freedom, then TPTB have two stark choices; kill us all (which I think is their plan) and have no future, or give in and let us lead.

And it seems to me more and more young people are beginning to feel this way!

No matter how widespread oppression may be, liberty manages to force herself into the darkest of pits bringing out the light in humanity.

The key is continued spreading of knowledge, a rock solid faith in your human brethren, and determination to seek liberty against all odds.

Freedom and liberty cannot be stopped. Bullets and administrators and sales quotas and laws and harsh words and high schools are no match against it. TPTB are fucked because evil always loses in the end; it either gets destroyed by good people, or it destroys itself in all of it's own decadence, insanity, and delusion.

I believe the latter is happening. TPTB are way past their shelf life, and they know it.
