Asteroid to whiz by Earth and Moon December 11, discovered yesterday

Depends on what it is made of.
If it hits earth's atmosphere, and the asteroid is made out of iron... well, then there will be problems.

they don't usually say we'll see it...I've always heard they would most likely not catch it...and yes, an amateur might when they don't, but the amateur's got to have a way to get his info out and verifiable quickly...

i think it is bringing something with it, something in it's wake.

Why is it then that some smaller ones very recently have come all the way in and actually struck buildings and ammo dumps. One hit a priests house and killed him. One skipped into the atmosphere and then skipped out. It depends what they are made of actually also. READ.

This ones big enough to actually cause some problems. If it hit a big city center it could actually cause lots of problems.

Its not just size its the velocity and speed at which they travel.

This is going to be happeneing all the time coming up. We are seeing them already every other day. The sky's have never been so busy.

I have a freind in an astronomy club who told me that there's going to be lots of this going on in the future as we are entering into the most conguested part of the Milky Way.

Watch your backs and the Sky's. They are not going to see them all coming inbound.

Thats a really odd orbit it has.

Finding near Earth objects is like trying to map the bottom of the ocean through a couple of straws. I laugh every time someone says there is no meteor coming within (dates).

The truth is we just don't know.

Yes, "space shuttle/plane" forced down by space rocks, plus Korean nuke test, as temporal markers for solar killshot.

That doesn't even make sense. Then why do tiny tiny meteors and such end up lighting up the entire sky falling to earth???.............
