Any experience with American Power and Gas LLC ??

So in the US is it actually legal to do scams like this?
Even in this crazy country they would put a stop to this shit.

I signed up with them last year around November. My first 2 bills were regular price (Maybe 15% less than PPL) Now, my bill has almost tripled. Jumped from 130/Mo to 312/Mo. I just called and complain and told them when I signed up I was promised the lowest rates out there and definitely lower than PPL. She said it was unforeseeable. She blames the "Mother Nature", some lady named Page Wise, Employee ID: 4560, called me a bluff and blamed it all on mother nature...WTF?

She insisted she is working over time to help customers when I called 3:45PM PST. Their hours on their answering machine clearly say "hours of operation: 9am - 7pm". How is that over time? Clearly a lying, cheating, scmamming company.

She then refused to put me on with the manager claiming there is no manager around. How is your department even running without a manager or a supervisor to oversea the work?

I work very hard for my money I dont deserve this shit.

I understand the weather has been bad lately but seriously? Tripled rate?

I have cancelled with them and waiting for a call back from the manager.

They want me to sign up to save money on my electric bill.

Is this a scam or a legit company?

How is they can provide cheaper rates than my local electric company (RG&E)?

I was with Ambit for about 2 years and they were constantly cheaper than my utility, but only by about half a penny per kwh. One day I received a call from American Power and Gas, about 10 months ago. I was told since I had already enrolled with Ambit I was in the system and could get a more competitive rate, and also pollution free energy. I enrolled my business as well and they sent me this really nice Green plaque which I could hang up in my business. My electric expenses have been much lower than I can recall in recent memory even with the power surge. Also in 2 months I am due to receive a couple of rebate checks. I have been comparing my rates over the past 6 months to various other suppliers, and I am making out extremely well. I have never had a bill over 13.5 cents per kwh, and more often then not my bill is south of 8 cents. I am so far very happy with my expierence and would definitely recommend American Power and Gas.
