We might see something moving there! Quoting: Lilbabez33 Yeah I can try when the weather cooperates a bit Might be a stupid question but taking into consideration the possibility of never being on the moon. Has anyone ever seen the Flag thru a telescope? Not possible with a telescope or even the Hubble. |

You have a smaller scope so be careful on the eyepiece selection. I'm not sure how to find it exactly. I just read forums on which eyepiece is best for my scope. |

I can get a Barlow lens to double my magnification. But I really need to get out during the day and get everything aligned. I have a red dot scope on mine. Hope its warmish this weekend. Geo, you got me all inspired to get out there. Thanks, and thanks Hydra Last Edited by Isis One on 12/11/2012 01:45 AM Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... Quoting: 2012Portal I captured the moon a bit and even the moons of Jupiter, see in HD here [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] but this was with a Nikon D7000 with a mere 50/500 lens. Nothing like your telescope. Can you try to get some images of Jupiter and it's moons with your set-up? Bet you it will be awesome! Cheers OP. Pretty cool video. But my webcam doesn't want to pick up the moons :( Wow, neat colors though. I wonder - if you zoomed out a bit and focus on a broader area, if then maybe you pick up the moons? In any event, thanks again, nice! From the love of power to the power of Love - My camera and video gear: [link to graphicstart.com] --- --- --- "Jesus Christ, the Son of God our Savior" |

Still find it simply incredible what we normal folks can capture these days. On that note - I wonder how I can jimmy-rig my set-up (Nikkon D7000 with various lenses 50/200, 50/500) to somehow zoom in even more, without shelling out tons of money??
