In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus said this " As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

Now, does that sound like life as usual up till the day of the end? It kind of does to me. Sounds like there will be signs, but subtle signs that maybe most won't notice up till the 7th trumpet.

What is being referenced is the third of seven bowls of God's wrath that will be poured out at the END of the Great Tribulation. Trust me, we are not there yet.

So, let's keep this in context. There are two bowls that are poured out prior to the third, which is being referenced. They are:

Wrath #1:

The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

Wrath #2:

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died.

Clearly, this sequence has not started. When it does, there will be no debate about it.

Presenting this out of context only tends to desensitize people.

Are you sure about that, because I"m not sure. I'm not so sure that everything will be incredibly obvious because if it were, everyone on planet earth would repent, and we know that's not the case.

At any rate, I don't claim to know everything, just watching and waiting like everyone else......all the while knowing that it all might not come down exactly the way we thought.

I'm painfully aware of my fallen and pathetic human state of existence, and I understand that I know very little as even the brightest of us see through a glass dimly.

But, I believe that however our Creator does it will be perfect and flawless from start to finish and I trust in Him completely and fully.

In the meantime, I'm sitting back watching the show and pointing out things of interest along the way hoping that others will take notice and acknowledge our Creator and join the winning team.......which is Jesus.

I am sure about that. I believe that the signs are increasing and that we are in the beginning of birth pangs. But it’s important to watch and discern in context with God’s Word. God’s wrath will come suddenly and swiftly! When it does, there will be no eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. If you read on to verse 11 of Revelation 16, you will find this:

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

This is not a happy time.

You might believe these things to be more literal, and I'm saying........maybe not. Maybe these things are more spiritual in nature, like sores and pains might be spiritual in nature and not literal physical sores. Maybe and maybe not, I don't know.

You say that you are sure, but I say that only God knows for sure. The rest of us just try to figure out what only God knows for sure.

There are both birth pangs and judgment. It depends on which side of the effort you are looking at. For those who are saved, the new beginning is coming and there is nothing to fear. For those who reject Christ, it is a time of woe. It is time for all to find Christ and pray for a name in the Book of Life to be spared from the coming woes and the potential to take the mark of the beast.
