OP you can do it stay strong .... try to fill your time up with anything you can... anything ,laundry, cleaning ,yardwork, going out with friends....

also tell the honest people that you trust (the ones that love you) ..... it is much more relieving when you can be honest with those who you care about

the rootbark should be cheap and can be ordered to places where it's not illegal, IDK if it will sneak into states or not without repacking, check erowid to see recommendations for how some use it.
The pure hcl salt is expensive and IDK why, the commercial detoxes are not cheap because they babysit you, the hcl salt can be made from the rootbark with little trouble.

I wish someone with some actual experience would pipe up and represent, although plenty on ytube.

i can tell im still detoxing cuz i used a tiny tiny bit today. but just enough to kill the WD symptoms for a bit... used @ 1:30.... 4:30 symptoms returning.... knees aching.. back aching... took 2 xanax bars feeling awesome not a care in the world. on 0 hours of sleep in past 30+ hours of days... Tonight i will probably get at least 5 solid hours of sleep.... tomorrow will be HELL- taking xanax all day... Friday will be a little easier I am going to get a few vicodin.... and other supplies i mentioned. Then that will be 3 days without barely any use. another 2-3 days of hell and I should be able to cope with it simply with natural remedies... WISH ME LUCK

Don't use more drugs to help the other one. That's just a crutch, and you will be doing the same thing over and over.

Get a support group IRL. If you really want to kick this...you need to surround yourself with people that want you to succeed. No user friends or family.

It will be hard for a while. You need to and must WANT to stay strong.

Drink your juice and snack...then go for a walk or run. No pills or a small bit to take the edge off. It won't help you in the end.

please don't taper off. its just a trap I fell for many times. cold turkey is they way to go. it'll reduce your chances of relapse if you reflect on the hell heroin caused you when quiting.

cold turkey and detox the hell out of yourself. itl be worse but won't last as long. the quicker it leaves your system the better. I quit coldturkey 4 months ago and haven't looked back.

When I came off Methadone, cold turkey, I developed an herbal protocol to alleviate symptoms. It worked as well as Clonidine, for me. Since then, I have helped tens of folks with opiate withdrawal and would be happy to share it with you, if you are interested, OP.

My heart goes out to you. Crying helps. I always felt better after a good sob. have someone bring you some Imodium, too.

Methadone is brutal. detoxing off take takes much longer then heroin. The pain is so deep in your skin too.

I use Passionflower for the heart rate, BP, and that awful feeling when you feel your pulse in your throat (related to BP. It is central to the protocol. After the acute phase, switch Passionflower for Hawthorne and use the PF as needed. Hawthorne is more tonic in nature and better for long term than acute stuff.

Incidentally, the Passionflower works so well that I now use it for Preeclampsia on the midwifery side of my practice.
