F-15 jets were mobilised after Chinese maritime aircraft entered airspace over the Senkaku islands, which China calls the Diaoyus, just after 11 am (0200 GMT), Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura told reporters. It is said that around 11:06 a.m., a Japanese patrol vessel checked the place in the sky near Outsuri Island where the plane was flying. Toson gave the following crioicism about the airspace violation: "It is very regrettable." He clarified that the government would lodge a protest against China through diplomatic channels. |

Thanks for the pin though, it is my second pinned thread in GLP since my first pin ever on "Cheonan Navy Ship Sink" in 2010. Today's incident over Senkaku still has a potential development of tension in East Asia consisdering the NK satellite launch yesterday. Sure we are living in a times of trouble.
