Saw something about this yesterday. I'm no muslim supporter, by any means, but I take this as a "don't poke the bear" type measure. It's bad enough that we're over there stickin' our nose in where we don't belong, so why provoke them further, ya know?
Quoting: HippyAwakened Exactly. The fact that people can't use common sense to understand this is baffling. In combat, you try to limit your profile to the enemy so he doesn't have a good target. Why not do that in noncombat situations, too? Limit your profile = don't say stuff that will make you a target. Hard to comprehend? Nope. Easy to pontificate upon? I reckon.
