Sun is so Bright it hurts...12/21/2012 is the real deal!

You CAN and SHOULD look at the sun, you just have to know when

hang on guys he might be right... i've been monitoring the situation. i'll continue starring at the sun and see if anything happens. i will keep you informed.

*UPDATE* the sun really is bright

It's hard to tell if it's indeed brighter, however i think the yellow thing is because we use to draw on white papers, so it's quite hard to draw white sun on white paper...

It is extremely bright, but not easy to judge if it is brighter than normal.

The reason the sun is so bright today is because a planet exploded about 650 million light years away. A planet called Betelgeuse I think. It's only going to be brighter until the end of 2012 I believe, then it will go back to normal. It's going to look like we have two suns towards the end of this phenomenon but it isn't going to have any detrimental effects to Earth or it's inhabitants. It's just going to make for some bomb ass Tumblr pictures :D
