Awesome "Survival Pods" built by Chinese man.. I WANT ONE OF THESE!!!

I'm sorry, but anything with wall paper from the mid 80s in it or on it, is not going to save anybody anytime soon. People are so desperate to survive something, awesome...sigh.

Where is the toilet? I bet there is not one. The Chinese are in denial about bodily functions and every toilet I ever saw there as an afterthought, not something designed in. After rolling around on the waves in that thing for a day, it will be pretty rank inside.

k...perhaps you all are missing a bit of the bigger (or smaller) picture. This may not be a thing for everyone, but for anyone who has been in or lives by a fault with the potential for a Tsunami this could bring a little piece of mind, also I think the maker probably feels there will be someone that could if needed come along and roll it over or rescue it from the waters....ect..) so it would not be for just anybody....my luck I would take refuge in it only to have a sinkhole to open up and swallow me whole. Oh and the look of it reminds me of those bugs balls of poop they roll around!

i actually think these are a good idea , need a better design version, but the idea is good, because lets face it the earth is something like 70% water and that's just the oceans. so any mega doom, will most likely involve water, so something similar to these would be ideal to try survive the initial event, because without one you will most likely drown and be swept away.

This is why we need the Swiss.... inner sphere is a must. Between your watches, hot chocolate and chinaball ideas, you guys should take over the world..

I would improve it by making a pod within a pod ,,, only ,, the inner pod would be like sort of a gyroscope. That way you will always be the right side up,, lolll just an idea.

LOL!!!!! Like a fucking ballast is going to help the situation in the event of a tsunami... have you seen what just a large wave can do to an oil tanker?? And those things are 100x the weight with all sorts of stabilizing devices..

Sure, EVENTUALLY it might be upright, but being strapped in a pod that gets get with a 100mph+ wave, then smashed into everything else in the way...that pod wouldn't stand a chance. Have you seen what a tanker looks like after getting washed up from a typhoon? Imagine that 100 fold...only you're in a pod, not a tanker.

long time ago I had an article saved I think it was the Russians invented a pod that would float in lava..
who knows could have been the Chinese who invented it

The Canadian version was made from drift-snow, know how many melted in shipping?
