You do not have much of an option outside of bugging out while your home gets taken from you. Have a recurve bow. It is light and you should get a takedown. They can breakdown into 3 pieces which is great for travel. The best part about having a recurve after some practice is...well...it's silent. It's about as silent as you can get if you're trying to wait until nightfall to take back what's yours.

And the ammo is reusable and easy to make if ya lose an arrow..just make another one. Silnt..deadly...low maintenace..and one arrow usually diables someone. Ever seen someone keep running with an arrow sticking out their guts?
