Oh. Silly me :) I am a n00b at researching conspiracy type incidents. I've only ever dealt with policy research, Post Grad research (I do research for post grads who are working on their Ph.D), and Friendly Fire accidents.

I really do not see how that is possible

I live near Chardon and I remember when this happened earlier this year -- the daughter of a woman I work with was shot. Fortunately the girl survived. I can relate to how the people in Newtown are feeling -- complete shock and dismay... unreal.

February 12, 2007. In Salt Lake City’s Trolley Square Mall, 5 people were shot to death and 4 others were wounded by 18-year-old gunman Sulejman Talović. One of the victims was a 16-year-old boy.

April 16, 2007. Virginia Tech became the site of the deadliest school shooting in US history when a student, Seung-Hui Choi, gunned down 56 people. Thirty-two people died in the massacre.

December 5, 2007. A 19-year-old boy, Robert Hawkins, shot up a department store in the Westroads Mall in Omaha, NE. Hawkins killed 9 people and wounded 4 before killing himself. The semi-automatic rifle he used was stolen from his stepfather’s house.

February 7, 2008. Six people died and two were injured in a shooting spree at the City Hall in Kirkwood, Missouri. The gunman, Charles Lee Thornton, opened fire during a public meeting after being denied construction contracts he believed he deserved. Thornton was killed by police.

February 14, 2008. Steven Kazmierczak, 27, opened fire in a lecture hall at Northern Illinois University, killing 6 and wounding 21. The gunman shot and killed himself before police arrived. It was the fifth-deadliest university shooting in US history.

April 3, 2009. Jiverly Wong, 41, opened fire at an immigration center in Binghamton, New York before committing suicide. He killed 13 people and wounded 4.

August 3, 2010. Omar S. Thornton, 34, gunned down Hartford Beer Distributor in Manchester, CT after getting caught stealing beer. Nine were killed, including Thornton, and two were injured.

November 5, 2009. Forty-three people were shot by Army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan at the Fort Hood army base in Texas. Hasan reportedly yelled “Allahu Akbar!” before opening fire, killing 13 and wounding 29 others.

January 8, 2011. Former Rep. Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) was shot in the head when 22-year-old Jared Loughner opened fire on an event she was holding at a Safeway market in Tucson, AZ. Six people died, including Arizona District Court Chief Judge John Roll, one of Giffords’ staffers, and a 9-year-old girl. 19 total were shot. Loughner has been sentenced to seven life terms plus 140 years, without parole.

September 6, 2011. Eduardo Sencion, 32, entered an IHOP restaurant in Carson City, NV and shot 12 people. Five died, including three National Guard members.

October 14, 2011. Eight people died in a shooting at Salon Meritage hair salon in Seal Beach, CA. The gunman, 41-year-old Scott Evans Dekraai, killed six women and two men dead, while just one woman survived. It was Orange County’s deadliest mass killing.

April 2, 2012. A former student, 43-year-old One L. Goh killed 7 people at Oikos University, a Korean Christian college in Oakland, CA. The shooting was the sixth-deadliest school massacre in the US and the deadliest attack on a school since the 2007 Virginia Tech massacre.

July 20, 2012. During the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, CO, 24-year-old James Holmes killed 12 people and wounded 58. Holmes was arrested outside the theater.

August 5, 2012. Six Sikh temple members were killed when 40-year-old US Army veteran Wade Michael Page opened fire in a gurdara in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Four others were injured, and Page killed himself.

September 27, 2012. Five were shot to death by 36-year-old Andrew Engeldinger at Accent Signage Systems in Minneapolis, MN. Three others were wounded. Engeldinger went on a rampage after losing his job, ultimately killing himself.

May 29, 2012. Ian Stawicki opened fire on Cafe Racer Espresso in Seattle, WA, killing 5 and himself after a citywide manhunt.

December 11, 2012. On Tuesday, 22-year-old Jacob Tyler Roberts killed 2 people and himself with a stolen rifle in Clackamas Town Center, Oregon. His motive is unknown.

December 14, 2012. On Friday, 20 year old Adam Lanza opened fire at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newport, Conn at around 9:40am. He killed 26 people which included 20 children. The gunman was dead at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Why do people keep posting that the CONN shooter had autism like it means he was stupid? People with aspergers are incredibly intelligent, and are a high functioning form of autism. They also tend to focus and obsess about different things.

Peter Lanza, who drove to northern New Jersey to talk to police and the FBI, is a vice president at GE Capital and had been a partner at global accounting giant Ernst & Young.

Adam's older brother Ryan Lanza, 24, has worked at Ernst & Young for four years, apparently following in his father's footsteps and carving out a solid niche in the tax practice. He too was interviewed by the FBI. Neither he nor his father is under any suspicion.

Great idea OP!

A few things you might want to add to researching might be:

1. If the shootings were originally thought to be multiple shooter (all of the shootings recently have evidence pointing towards multiple shooters, as well as witnesses/first responders saying things about multiple people, but the reports stating only one.

2. Military affiliations of Parents, therapists or the shooter.

3. Careers of parents, and connections to big business/government.

Just possible things to look into from the shootings of the past few years.

We have been absolutely inundated by information. I had NO idea what I was getting myself into. The rabbit hole here seems never-ending.

My focus has been on the medications. For me, this is rather personal, because I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 2009. This latest shooting seems to portray people with this condition as emotionless, cold, and detached from humanity. This is simply not true.

The medications I take do several things. Firstly, I have a serious anger control problem. It is part of my condition, but more so, I think, it comes from years of being misunderstood and ostracized by my peers. Therapy has been a godsend. The medications help me to look at problems more rationally and objectively rather than subjectively. This, combined with proper and positive therapy, has helped me to become a more active participant in society. I'm still a loner, but never once have I ever entertained any plan to harm. It is because of this fact, and the fact that 1000s of other people suffering from my same condition who have never been violent, that I believe the medications and therapy these killers are getting are being used to "groom" them into a certain mindset. The medications make you pliable. If a therapist had an ulterior motive for their patients, the outcome would be someone like Adam Lanza. However, lack of proper treatment can also be at play here.

More later. I'm still trying to grasp why any psychologist, therapist, or psychiatrist would be so evil. It is, actually, rather scary and I will be forever selective of those who I seek out for therapy.

Gabapentin. Zyprexa, Cymbalta, and a whole list of others. Did you know that an allergic reaction to gabapentin can cause psychotic episodes? I'm allergic to gabapentin. They tried that shit on me and I felt so displaced I told the Dr. FUCK YOU and get me off this shit!

Here I am... allergic to gabapentin and guess what??? Effexor HAS gabapentin in it! NO wonder I feel so fucked up between doses! This is the drug they gave me to help me control my rages. WTF???

Just days before being murdered, Judge Roll had issued a preliminary ruling with intent to rule against the case of 'United States of America v. $333,520.00 in United States Currency et al'. The subject of the case involved giving the Obama Administration power to seize citizens' assets regardless of whether or not it could be proven that they committed any sort of crimes. And Judge Roll had planned to declare it unconstitutional.
