Guns aren't for everybody. If you don't want to have anything bigger than a single shot pop gun for yourself that's fine. This country would never have won it's independence if the general public had not had the ability to field the same weapons the British soldiers had. It's very inexpensive and it doesn't destroy the game. You can bring down wild hog and deer if you take the time to become a marksman. The rounds are VERY inexpensive. For waterfowl, a 12 gauge is preferable because ducks fly about 60 miles an hour.

The perfect gun then is a 12 gauge/22 over and under where you get two guns in one.
