She was probably afraid of the authorities since that's who was blasting the kids. The one nurse wouldn't let the cops in. She demanded their badges and stuff.

Yep, the police obviously did a very good job searching the building. When she finally got out, they made her also close her eyes. So after 4 hours they couldn't have at least covered up the bodies? Nope, she had to close her eyes so she didn't see them. Mmhmm.

Maybe she saw everything and had to spend the four hours with the police negotiating how she could be allowed to live by not ever saying anything about what she saw and only saying what they told her to say she saw. She's the one that stated Adam's mother was a wonderful kindergarten teacher at the school.
Or maybe she's one of their inside operatives who was in on it all and didn't leave the building for four hours because she was working with them.

Well if it was the authorities blasting the kids why didn't they blast her when they found her?

Possibly during those four hours she was assisting in caring for the drugged unconscious children (child sex slavery theory). She did have such a calm pleasant attitude in her interviews, as if personally knowing the children were just fine. Maybe she was given some other reason for the op that she could approve of.
