I am watching the sunset and about the bottom 1 inch of my view is obscured by trees. What's weird is that yesterday the sky was dark at the appropriate time but not tonight.

I agree. I am in western NC. When I leave work at 5:30 it is almost dark. Tonight the sky was still very light and barely dusk. I was thinking about this all the way home. Glad to see it mentioned here. Something is def different.

No offense OP. but sunset is not till 5:10 give or take five minutes due to the width of the State; east or west. The only reason it got darker for you is because there were clouds. Please, sunset has never been that early unless you live on the border of the time zone. It may be getting dark, but I have to say you should look at the sky more. I say this with all due respect to another.

It got dark about 20 to 25 minutes earlier yesterday.

I noticed this last week! I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice. I was tripping out because it's not Solstice yet so the days should be getting shorter.

THe sun still hasnt set in cali and was overly bright and blindingly white all day. Something is up

It's finally getting dark here at 5:22pm it used to start getting dark about 4:40 and was pretty much night time by 5pm the last few weeks. I noticed it too. The cause? I have no idea lol
