Since Sandy Hook has nothing whatsoever to do with Americans having their own guns, which is their right, it looks like Obama - who knows what really came down - is unscrupulously getting ready to put the country under lockdown, for his own ends.

Actually, Israel did him a big favor.

Israel? wtf

Yeah, I guess it could be... Myself I don't really know anyone who's worried about the 21st. I'm certainly not, but it could be that and the fear of coming bans on guns/ammo.

Okay, so, on my way home I decided to stop by a chain sporting goods / gun store. Not Dicks, not Wal-Mart.

All the "military looking" rifles had been taken off the racks.

Wall to wall people, standing in line to even look at the ammunition. People were finding the caliber(s) they were looking for and just scooping boxes of it off the shelves. Workers brought out a pallet of shotgun ammo and were trying to get in and restock.

All kinds of talk about "buy it while you can" etc. One guy told me he'd come from Wal-Mart and they were sold out of most nearly everything.

Got to the checkout and saw multiple people in lines with several boxes of ammo in hand.

It was nuts!

Yeah that's true it could be!

I do know that one guy there was on the phone to his buddy saying "Nope, none on the shelves. None at all." A bit later he was over near me looking at ammo and he asked the guy who was trying to restock the shotgun shells about it. The stocker only said "Yeah, they took them off the shelves at Wal-Mart and Dicks" which kind of led me to believe they'd been taken down.

It could be they had already sold out though, the stocker guy didn't really say.

Yes...it will blow over.
...but not without the huge obvious political battle that is coming from the LEFTY EXTREMISTS.

...but also true...they do try to strip rights away piece by piece. Hence the NRA and it's activists, lobbyists, pro-gun people....etc that will fight this tooth and nail.

But yes....there is a political battle coming...probably over violent video games and assault weapons. There are ALREADY laws in place for these weapons though so how far they can take this is debatable.

When the MSM dust settles on this....so will much of the fury.

Enough to give one to every neighbor on my street along with a few thousand rounds per gun, + my personal 25,000+ rounds for hunting alone.

I might even have to pick up more ammo at this rate, like when the ammo shortage was in full swing and go back to the days of meeting the truck in the parking lot as it unloads.

As an ex-con I'm not allowed to possess them, either.

I feel ya. I don't want much, just a sidearm, a hunting rifle and a pump shotty. ALL for survival needs if/when the time comes.

Dear disaffected Democrats: Welcome to the Libertarian Party, we think you will find our social tolerance delightful. However in exchange for this, you're going to have to find a way to be ok with people keeping their guns and more of their money.

Dear disaffected Republicans: Welcome to the Libertarian Party, we think you will find our small government economic policies to your liking. However in exchange you will have to find a way to be ok with "the gays" getting married.

As much as they may want to....they cannot revoke The Second Amendment.

This will blow over in time.

unfortunately I heard today that they will take them by passing laws and regulations forcing every gun to be insured by a huge amount of money. Just like they have done all around the country with Pit Bull dogs. You can't afford the insurance , so, by default you can't have the dog. Same thing will happen with guns
The only ones that will have them will be the lawless criminals, law abiding people follow the law.. It really sucks doesn't it.

By hook or by crook they say

Yeah I'm kind of thinking they don't care much what the Constitution says anymore. If they do you sure couldn't tell it by their actions.

Insurance is typically a private contract, but they can daisy chain it into government enforcement. For example most states will not allow you to "use" your drivers license or "maintain" registration (title, plates) UNLESS you have liability insurance.

The home owners insurance industry can make rates astronomical if you report you have a gun in your home. The banks can refuse to issue you a home loan unless you carry insurance. Even if you own your home free and clear: utility, fire/EMS can refuse to service your home without insurance.

See how they can do it if they want to? Nobody ever wins against government.

Wow, I've never seen anybody dump on Israel like that on a TV broadcast, that guys got balls of steel. I hope he doesn't have a mysterious heart attack later or decide to commit suicide under strange circumstances. I don't think Israel likes being insulted very much. It looks like everyone is waking up and it's getting increasingly difficult for corruption and lies to hide in the shadows.

Let the light shine in brothers and sisters.
