Try this simple experiment (if legal in your state or county):

Smoke a half ounce of weed a week for four weeks. Quit. Record your symptoms.

Drink 5 cups of coffee a day for four weeks. Quit. Record your symptoms.

Smoke one pack of cigarettes a day for four weeks. Quit. Record your symptoms.

This simple experiment will quickly demonstrate the difference in various types of habituation.

If you record this for youtube,and you whine enough and are fairly young and cute, you could make money performing this experiment. Vomiting would be a plus.

you mean they found marijuana in his system. that doesnt mean he was high, or that he had even smoked in the past 3 weeks or so. granted, he might have actually been high, but the way they test doesn't prove he was during the accident

The pedestrian was at fault. He died from wandering out in traffic. But, because the driver had THC, he was detained. Charges were later dropped.

-502 In Action: Cops Say Driver 'Technically At Fault' Because He Had THC In His System



Before Washington state "marijuana legalization" Initiative 502 passed last month, some in the community, Toke of the Town included, publicly worried about the fallout from the measure's section on driving under the influence of cannabis. It appears those concerns were not groundless -- a driver, not at fault in a fatal accident, has been charged with DUI-marijuana in a deadly crash which ended the life of a pedestrian.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, this is probably the first deadly crash involving marijuana since it became legal in Washington. The driver was not at fault, but was charged anyway, since police "believed him to be under the influence of marijuana."

The victim, a male in his 50s, was believed to have been walking back home from a grocery store and stepped out into the middle of traffic around 5:50 p.m. at East Mill Boulevard and Andresen Road on Monday, according to police.

Officials said the victim was close to two different lit and controlled intersections, "but chose to step out into the middle of traffic, which would clearly put him at fault," reports KPTV.

Prosecutors also said despite what a police news release said, Rowles was never charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants

The Marine Corps‘ new on-duty standard for drinking alcohol is so strict that less than one drink at lunch would trigger a “positive” and get a warrior in hot water.

The Washington Times reported earlier this week that the Corps sent a Dec. 12 message to commanders officially beginning mandatory breath tests for all 197,000 Marines twice each year.

A reading of just .01 percent subjects a Marine to counseling. A Marine who registers a .04 must be examined by medical staff for fitness for duty.

The Corps is the first among the Army, Air Force and Navy to begin random mandatory testing of all personnel.
