*You believe the letter "L" in Australia is optional, and it's perfectly ok to call it "Straya"
*You think Wooloomooloo is a perfectly reasonable name for a place
*You're secretly proud of our killer wildlife
*You believe it makes perfect sense to have a $1 coin larger than a $2 coin
*You understand Wagga Wagga can be abbreviated to "Wagga", but Woy Woy can't be "Woy"
*Beetroot with your hamburger "Yes Please"
*You know what it's like to swallow a fly, via your nose. On occasion
*You know how to abbreviate every word, usually ending with a "O" eg: lezzo, metho, rego, garbo, convo, arvo, milko, muso servo, smoko, speedo, righto, sicko etc

I love the variety of the English language. Aside from some deep Southern accents in the US Americans have the lousiest English accents. Australia and the UK win hands down in the cool accent contest. |
