That would be next... Take a look at the UK. You cannot even carry a swiss army knife without a reason.

Golf clubs and baseball bats are extremely dangerous weapons. I say both sports should be banned until someone can find a way to play without lethal instruments.

If my classmate pulled out a knife, he would kill 2-3 people TOPS. semi-automatic weapons/guns tho, are whole different animal.

Guns don't kill people. Gunowners kill people. Not everyone should be able to own a gun, you should at least be fucking mentally stable. How many mass shootings will it take?

Guns, after all, are simply another weapon. A weapon of war.

Personally, I prefer to live in a (relatively} peaceful society where every thug on the street corner is not armed with a lethal piece of equipment.

I usually get flamed for my anti gun stance. I just don't like guns, and what guns can do in the wrong hands. And let's face it, the problems are caused by guns being in the wrong hands.

I'm not totally 'anti' gun. I know that people in America generally need guns for self defense, because they don't know if every yob they pass on the street is armed or not. This is sad. A sad situation to be in.

I'd prefer to stay in England's green and pleasant land.

I often wonder what people (specifically Americans) would propose as a solution to the rampant gun crime.

Everybody is quick to go 'up in arms' about 'taking our guns'. That's their right. But does anybody have any real solutions to bring to the table?

Americans are generally good people. But for all their goodness, wealth and power, it can't be denied that they live in violent society.

What is the solution?

There is already knife control... I can't order certain knives over the interweb to be shipped to NY.
