I collect Nippon glassware and glassware that was made in Occupied Japan but don't eat off them. I've also got a few bowls and saucers that were made in Korea. I really like hand painted plates and have a collection of them too. I have one that shows an island scene painted by Hitomi that is my favorite. |

I have been eating off the same plates for 45 yrs. I bought the plates/set in India on my first pilgrimage in 67'. I also have another set I use for special occasions. That set can sit 24 with full thali's(large 12" plate with 12o/z cup and 6 small serving cups each setting)and they still like a mirror after 15 yrs. |

This, my everyday plates are Corelle, got them in the 1970's. They have been dropped hundreds of times over the years, they are still good to go. My good plates are from England. |
