He writes that David and Solomon never existed but were myths

Further, Judaism, he writes, forbids return to the claimed 'holy lands' until the appearance of the very long awaited jewish messiah

He goes on to document the history of those who today claim to be jews. They are nothing of the kind, he says. Instead, today's jews, 98% of them, are descendants of converts in Europe

Schlomo Sand claims there was NEVER a jewish exile

Instead, and as claimed also by israel's first Prime Minister, Ben Gurion, it is the PALESTINIANS who are the TRUE descendants of the region's original jews.

He claims that after the majority jews took off and moved into Europe (after which they power-grabbed converts, the ancestors of today's 'jews') the remaining jews wandered around the middle east and eventually converted to ISLAM

Sand frankly admits that in Israel, all this is well known by his contemporaries to the point they haven't bothered trying to contest the claims in his book - also that their actual history is not taught to jews. Instead they're permitted to waffle along with their myths, believing them to have basis in truth

So, to repeat, according to jewish-israeli Professor Sand's research as documented in his book, David and Solomon were simply MYTHS
