Venus Transit and Tectonic Activity - History - 24-29th December, Hawaii ??

I guess everyone remember we had a Venus transit this year, as explained, they come in pairs eight years apart. The last Venus transit was in 8th June 2004.


201 days after the event, or 6 months and 18 days, on 26th December we had the big earthquake in Indonesia.
I'll get back on that later, for now I would like to talk about the events in the previous pair of Venus's transits.

The previous pair of transits were in December 1874 and December 1882.


First transit: 9th December 1874.

Possible related event: 1875 Cúcuta earthquake.

It's important to check the dates here, this earthquake hit 7.5M and happened on 18 May 1875. It was 160 days, or 5 months and 9 days after the transit.

Second transit: 6th December 1882
Possible related events: 1883 Krakatoa eruption and Italy earthquake.

Again we should check the dates to see how the pattern emerge. 165 days, or 5 months and 14 days after the Venus transit, Krakatoa became active again.

The major eruption happened at August, but the primary increase in activity happened abruptly at 20th May.
Apparently there was also a major earthquake on the year of 1883, which struck in Italy, I'm mentioning that but I'm not sure if its so important regarding the Venus transit, anyways, it happened in late July.


We can go back briefly to the previous pair of transits, they happened on 1761 and 1769. The first happened at 6th June 1761. December 9th of the same year a 7.7M quake hit Russia, a couple of months later, on 2nd April 1762, a 8.8M quake hit near Bangladesh. Still on 1762 and back to Russia, the Klyuchevskaya Sopka which apparently is sacred to indigenous groups erupted.


The second of that pair happened on 3rd June 1769. Exactly one year after that, on 3rd June 1770, an earthquake measuring 7.5M struck Haiti. Apparently on the same year the Kilauea volcano erupted, but I can't seem to find more information on that.


Now let's take a look at what this might represent for us.

The website has a small image, so I took another one, an image of transit visibility on 2004. I added a white ball marker to mark the epicenter of the Sumatra earthquake:




The 9.3M Earthquake struck the region 201 days after the transit, or 6 months and 18 days.

The 2012 Venus transit took place on 6th June. If we add 201 days to that date, we reach 24th December 2012.

Seeing the previous pair info, the first event happened 160 days after the first transit, and the second event happened 165 days after the second transit. So we can add 5 more days to this date, this will give us a timeframe between 24th and 29th December.
