According to the Strategic Research and Communications Centre, more than 50,000 people have been killed by the Assad regime, including 3,700+ children, since the beginning of the revolution in March 2011. There are more than 500,000 Syrian refugees in neighboring countries and millions of people have now been displaced inside the country.
