There's nothing in the Bible about practicing Christmas, it is not biblical.

 Quoting: - 30541819

Yes there is because on New Jerusalem December 8 Christmas we are celebrating God

Revelation 22:9
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Sure it does, when did Rome require people to have their yearly taxes done by? Passover was the religious start of the year and the harvest was just before mid-Sept. Even with Roman roads nobody was moving down muddy roads in the middle of the wet season. (December)

Re: HOLY POST - The Bible doesn’t say when Jesus was born, so why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
Jesus is the one and only sacrifice for all our sins and we can go to Him anytime to sort out our problems, that is a mega celebration as you pass from death to life, it is done openly with witnesses who are part of the problem you caused, with Jesus as the main witness and He records your repentance and Satan cannot hold it against you. Jesus is omnipotent and knew before the foundations of the world you were going to repent, He is God Almighty The Messiah and your slate is clean.

Christmas was designed by the mother harlot church, the same church that takes your money and forgives you of your misdemeanors, so you don't go to hell, a mega lie which actually sends you straight hell, Christ-Mass, the masses going to hell ! It is most probably a Roman god's birthdate as Father, Son and Holy Ghost are Roman gods, it has got nothing to do with Christianity - FRAUD - false vine - poison !

No person knows Christ's birth date and celebrating Him is something that happens with every breath we take as we were born in the 2000 year Grace period and can be saved by His Blood - a miracle.

Heathens and unbelievers make huge issues over burial ceremonies while it is just your spirit departing and going straight to Christ as you never died you have blended into eternity being part of His family. Christians of the true vine do not make these huge issues as they know where they are going to. Jesus Himself said, 'let the dead bury the dead, those who never accepted Christ as their Saviour. The one's who designed Christmas failed to recognise the true way of repentance which turns their Christmas celebtation into nil and void as they are the living dead.

We are born of our parents, we are the fruit of our mother's womb, we are of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, we are natural liars and thieves, we are born that way.

In order to receive eternal life we need to be reborn by the Tree of Life, and bear the fruits of Christ, as He is the Tree of Life. LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE.

We are born by sex and inherit the ills of our forefathers and foremothers we are required to be reborn.

The real celebration is passing from death - (sex birth) - to life which is a CHRISTIAN.

Because Jesus is the Sun (of man) and the astronomical year starts/ends today.

When Jesus (the Sun of man) sets out once more around the equinox, or cross (North East West South, or more commonly referred to as NEWS) ...

All these 'religious' Jesus freaks have been deceived, Jesus is the SUN of man, you fucking idiots ...

yeah right . next thing you'll tell me is that the 12 disciples are really the 12 months of the year, and the story of Judas is really the story of how people went from a 13 month lunar system of 28 days (13x28- 364days)to a 12 month system

yeah and maybe Moses didnt exist either, and he's made up, and his depiction of horns really mean he is the moon, and like in the book of Enoch where is said moses 'saw the whole of the earth' means he is the moon

yeah and maybe Abraham didnt exist either, and the name Abraham , or Abram, actually means 'father' of 'ram' and each astrological age has an invented leader/savior that is replaces every 2000 years (1/13 of a great year)

right , whats next superman?

Re: HOLY POST - The Bible doesn’t say when Jesus was born, so why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
The most loudly touted theory about the origins of the Christmas date(s) is that it was borrowed from pagan celebrations. The Romans had their mid-winter Saturnalia festival in late December; barbarian peoples of northern and western Europe kept holidays at similar times. To top it off, in 274 C.E., the Roman emperor Aurelian established a feast of the birth of Sol Invictus (the Unconquered Sun), on December 25. Christmas, the argument goes, is really a spin-off from these pagan solar festivals. According to this theory, early Christians deliberately chose these dates to encourage the spread of Christmas and Christianity throughout the Roman world: If Christmas looked like a pagan holiday, more pagans would be open to both the holiday and the God whose birth it celebrated.

25th was the mythical god Mithra's birthday, so the early Christians stole that day to try and cover up mithra just like they built their church building over the top of Mithra temples.

Re: HOLY POST - The Bible doesn’t say when Jesus was born, so why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
The timing of Jesus' birth is like a story problem:

"When Zechariah (father of John the baptist) was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son. The eighth course of Abia, when Zechariah was ministering, was the week of Sivan 12 to 18 (Killian n.d.). Adding forty weeks for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan 14). We know six months after John's conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33). Therefore, Jesus would have been conceived six months later in the month of Kislev. Kislev 25 is Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world” conceived on the festival of lights?

Starting at Hanukkah, which begins on Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Festival of Tabernacles (the early fall of the year).

During the Feast of Tabernacles, God required all male Jews to come to Jerusalem. The many pilgrims coming to Jerusalem for the festivals would spill over to the surrounding towns (Bethlehem is about five miles from Jerusalem). Joseph and Mary were unable to find a room at the inn because of the influx of so many pilgrims. "

That Jesus would be born on the Feast of Tabernacles would make perfect sense as that was the Son of God coming to live with us. The Lord tends too re-use His Feast days...His appointed times.
And,since travel was tough during that time,it was common for the Romans to collect their taxes during feast days when everyone was gathered.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

The importance is commemorating His birth no matter what month we choose to do so. There are only 35 days until Christmas. As we look around at the world and see the ever quickening birth pangs Jesus spoke of some two thousand years ago, I think it is even more important that we remember the significance of this time of year. It has been commercialized to no end and we should focus on the true importance of the season, the birth of the Messiah. Remember also what is truly important, God, Family and Friends.

Re: HOLY POST - The Bible doesn’t say when Jesus was born, so why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
There is no divine sanctity resting upon the twenty-fifth of December and it is not pleasing to God that anything that concerns the salvation of man through the infinite sacrifice made for them, should be so sadly perverted from its professed design. Jesus should be the supreme object, but as Christmas has been observed, the glory is turned from Him to mortal man, whose sinful, defective character made it necessary for Jesus to come into the world. In the Scriptures, no one is recorded to have kept a feast or held a great banquet on Jesus birthday. It is only us sinners who make great rejoicings over the day in which we were born into this sinful world. Do not learn the ways of the pagans or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though they are terrified by them. For the practices of these people are worthless. They cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold and they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a corn field, their idols cannot speak and they must be carried because they cannot walk.
There go I except for the grace of God.

Y'shua was born on Feast of Trumpets, probably sometime between BC 2-5.

Celebrating Christmas is not a neither-here-nor-there doctrinal issue. Celebrating once you know its origins is an act of disobedience. The Father darkens your understanding to more truth if you go on celebrating it when you know better. He enlightens you further if you repent from celebrating it.

Bump for truth.

No. We are not to commemorate his birth. We are to commemorate his death.

The time for obedience is now.

Because the Jewish Supremacists who infiltrated Christianity wanted to pervert it as much as they could so they made Christmas on a pagan holiday (winter solstice), changed the holy day from Saturday to Sunday, made sure the number 666 is on all scanning labels in stores, etc, etc, etc.

Re: HOLY POST - The Bible doesn’t say when Jesus was born, so why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Should we not also have joy and rejoice and give great glory to God for the birth of His Son our Saviour no matter what time of year it is ?

Jesus said to his followers, “So I tell you, don’t worry about the things you need to live—what you will eat or what you will wear. Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it. Look at the birds. They don’t plant, harvest, or save food in houses or barns, but God feeds them. And you are worth much more than crows. None of you can add any time to your life by worrying about it. And if you can’t do the little things, why worry about the big things?

In other words guys, don't sweat it. There are bigger fish to fry.
