I was also seeking the truth all my life, and I never would have thought I'd ever be saying this, but I can guarantee you that Jesus Christ is real, the Son of God, and alive. I know this because God revealed himself to me.

Re: Christmas Eve vision of Jesus
First of all, a disclaimer. I'm agnostic, but I lean towards theism. Probably if I had more proof I would be a Christian, due to personal experiences I've had, although other religions interest me as well. I never go to church, but I've been seeking the truth my whole life. I know someone is out there. I just don't know who.

Okay, onward.

I was nearly asleep when an image of Jesus (and possibly his apostles) came into my mind. Then I woke up while the vision was still fresh. I wrote most of this down immediately upon wakening:
b]But even more fearful than that. Like you knew this man had the power to banish you to hell,

Sounds like a good wake up call. Do you continue being an agnostic, or are going to accept Jesus, repent of your sins, live a righteous life according to the Bible, and avoid an eternity in hellfire?

Just as I was ready to give this response, I see someone else has beat me to it!

OP, I sincerely hope this experience/vision will open your heart and mind and you can see that God has given you the "proof" you seek.

You now know who is "out there," and He came to you to bring you unto Himself. Time IS short, and you should continue listening for His voice, following His leading. When Jesus returns physically, He will judge all, and if you are not WITH Him, you will be judged against Him! As a true seeker, you should know when a revelation has been given to you to help clear things up. Go to Him now, and ask Him to forgive you and bring you unto Himself.

Okay, onward.

I was nearly asleep when an image of Jesus (and possibly his apostles) came into my mind. Then I woke up while the vision was still fresh. I wrote most of this down immediately upon wakening:

What I saw seemed to be a still image, although I was literally standing there. (Or it could have been 3-D.) What I saw was duller than a photograph, but more realistic than a painting. The setting looked to be in the present. It was an image of a man. It was obvious to me he was Jesus, but there was what seemed like a ferocious lion peering out from inside him. This was my first impression. But not like a voracious, ravenous lion. More like a mighty, confident, majestic one. (I can't find the right words here.) In no way did he look physically like a lion. It could have been the way he composed himself, but when I saw him, a lion was the first thing that came to mind, and it was the most prominent detail in the vision. It was like looking at a lion without actually seeing one, if you can imagine that. (Probably not.) It's a little like trying to imagine a circle-square.

There was an immense feeling that I hoped I wasn't on his bad side, or that he would turn against me. Just looking at him caused me great fear, though I felt drawn to him just the same. I was perhaps drawn by an internal confidence, or even a magnificence in him. And this was a strange thing to think, since it was just a still picture of a regular looking guy with a regular expression on his face.

The lion. It's like if you were seeing a lion in real life sitting in front of you who didn't want to eat you, but you know it's a lion nonetheless. But even more fearful than that. Like you knew this man had the power to banish you to hell, but you were pretty sure he wouldn't. But could you trust your instinct? No, I found I couldn't.

I'm trying to explain this the best I can what having a vision feels like, but I don't think this will truly convey what I saw to someone who didn't share the experience. Try as I might, I can't find the right words.

So Jesus was sitting down and there were people sitting to the left and right of him. The image was kind of like 'The Last Supper' except everyone sat closer and more intimately together. Like they were posing for the picture. No smiles. They were all sitting in front of a window with light coming in, and perhaps they sat on a booth like you would find at any Denny's restaurant. I didn't notice what kind of clothing they wore.

There was something ancient about them. There were maybe five or six people in all, including Jesus. Or at least I could only see that many because the shot was a close-up. Jesus sat in the middle. He looked younger than the Jesus depicted in Da Vinci's painting. Maybe mid-to-early twenties physically, although I sensed he was much, much older. Once again, I don't think that would make sense to most anyone.

Feelings played an important role in understanding the image, and they weren't natural feelings. There was something synthetic about them. Jesus induced fear in me, although there was nothing particularly frightful about him or the image. The image didn't feel natural or dream-like either. It was as if someone were showing me a picture I could step into. Synthetic looking.

This morning I looked through a lot of pictures of Jesus on the Internet and couldn't find any that were close to what he looked like in my vision. Unfortunately, after looking through all those Jesus pics, I can no longer remember what the Jesus of my vision looked like.

WoW OP.. Thank you for sharing this awesome experience!

If I were you.. I would ask the Lord to sear this personal revelation into your heart and mind lest you ever forget.

I love the way you describe your interpretations of Him.

Congratulations on your desire for Truth. It would seem He is letting you know "seek and you shall find".

I will be praying that your hunger to examine what this experience means.. will lead you to the very Throne of God.

He is the Magnificent Creator of all. There are infinite facets of Him to explore.

Blessings to you

P.S. "although I sensed he was much much older"

Nice video. Thank you! I'll be listening to Kansas from a different point of view from now on.
 Quoting: AtomIcarus

Being able to track this man's spiritual quest throughout the songs he wrote while in the band Kansas has been a major factor I've come to like their music so much. Instead of writing about the mundane hype of the day like 99.9% of the other artists did/do, Mr. Livgren was brave enough to pour out his heart in public (and face ridicule, which he got a lot, even when he was not yet a Christian). It eventually led to the demise of the band but not before some real miracles happened:

[link to www.youtube.com]

This song was based on a vision Livgren had while "en route" so to speak.

"I'm woven in a fantasy, I can't believe the things I see."

[link to www.youtube.com]

Trying to put to words another vision:

"And in one gleaming moment I saw beyond the tomb."

Your Jesus was revealing The Comforter who is the Lion returning with Jesus's Spirit. The Comforter is already here on Earth. When you look into his eyes......you will Know it's him. He will speak of his Father who is Jesus and share what he is told.

For a very specific reason you may have been chosen to IDENTIFY him once he reveals who he is.

Op, his face will be undeniable. I sense that you will be able to do so within 48 hours.......

Get ready.....the world is in for a treat unlike anything wbumpitnessed before.

Re: Christmas Eve vision of Jesus
Actually Jesus can appear in many forms!! He can appear as the Lion of Judah!! He can appear as the Son of Man who walked with the disciples!! He could appear as the King of Kings (like I saw Him) or in other forms, because He represents so many things!! I could go on and on. But one thing I think is true; you saw the Lion of Judah in Jesus Himself. And that means that God wants you to get to know Him and Who and What He is!!

I, myself has had many visions and dreams. And God gives them to us to heighten our understanding of Him, and to make us know what He wants us to do.

And because I have been a preacher of the great faith of Jesus Christ for 38 years now; I have to tell you that God is calling you into His Kingdom. And you should repent, which means to ask God to forgive you of all of your sins; and then you should accept Jesus Christ as your only Lord and Saviour!!

visions and dreams are a gift. Use them wisely. You'll not get another chance, life is the lesson, death is the payment. Only Jesus can take your sin away and reward you with eternal life in heaven...goodness and light.

Seek and ye shall find. Jesus promised this.

The picture of the last supper was first painted in 1480 you think that with the relatively primitivness of the people then could have any bearing on today everything about the pictures are wrong concerning Jesus , people think of Christianity as white jesus , white disciples everyone is white ,where truthfully judging by the location ,the language spoken in the country nothing is further from the truth .Maybe there should be actual pictures of what Jesus would have looked like and the language spoke ,the bible as everyone reads it is in english it was translated at the time by scholars who if they didn't understand a word they made up one ,so it was translated into what someone wanted the bible too be ,who was in charge of these scholars ........
 Quoting: nibiflex

Yes, I agree with you. This was painted though, with much symbolism and seeing that symbols were a huge part of life back then and certainly before Leonardo's time, makes this rather interesting. Perhaps there is more than meets the eye.

The Bible translations are key, for today, many sacred facts are hidden from us. For instance, to call on, using God the Father's name, Jehovah, when in need and of course also likewise in thanks. They hid God's name with The LORD instead of passing this knowledge onward to the masses. Through and thanks to Jesus everything is now possible, but Satan is still at work.

God bless you Op!

Ron Wyatt found the Ark of the covenant and the blood of Jesus was on the mercy seat!

When Jesus' blood was put in a growth medium the cells divided. It was still alive! It was Very special blood that had the normal 23 chromosomes from the mother (Mary) but only one chromosome from the father (God)!

Only the demonically controlled doubt Ron's findings. He proved 5 stories of the Bible scientifically and every atheist Israeli scientist who was involved in the testing of that blood now believes in God and Jesus Christ! If you are reading this post God wants you to go to heaven! Research All of Ron Wyatt's work before you doubt the Bible is real!

Spread the word so We can save more souls for God! Praise God!

Re: Christmas Eve vision of Jesus
My wife had a vision of Jesus at a time when she was deeply hurting and had shed many tears for others. She stayed behind at home while me and the children went to church. As she was praying, Jesus appeared to here in a "window" which opened up before her and she described Him as a tall man with obvious Semitic features. He was emaciated with whole tufts of his hair torn out by the roots, bleeding all over His body. He raised His head and looked directly into her soul and told her "Give me your hate." He implied by what He said that her hate was really for Him, as all hate is. She rebelled at the thought of giving hate to Him, but He repeated it again, more forcefully, "Give me your hate!" In that moment, something inside of her but not OF her left her and went to the Savior. In that same moment, she understood for the first time in her life what a FATHER was. Jesus then showed her that ALL the tears that had ever been shed in the service of others, turned into a crown studded with stars. From that day forward, her pain turned into great joy. It was just the beginning of many visions and awesome dreams--some of them for both of us. My vision of Him was altogether different, because for me, he appeared as an angel of light with the bluest eyes we could ever imagine. I was transfixed with His glory and His words thrilled through my being. He also appeared to my wife as an Orb of Light and entered WITHIN her and immediatly said "Fear NOT! I am the Spirit of Jesus." He then gave her Scripture for us to both read together, and those words JUMPED OFF THE PAGE and we were laughing and crying at the same time.

He bestowed gifts upon us that day which have never left more than 40 years later. One was the "discerning of spirits" and another was the power to curse and bless. What a fearful gift that is! Baalam was given that power and his misuse of it was his undoing! He made it clear to me that my association with the "Nicolaitans" in my past was NOT in line with truth and that the "free love" movement of the 60's was paganistic and an abomination.

What a gift you have been given OP! Time will even make it seem like it was a dream, but it is as real as real can be. Never lose sight of it and keep it in your remembrance always. The time will come when you will need to rely upon it for your very life.
The TRUTH is stranger than FICTION.

Thank you Lord Jesus for appearing to this young man and revealing yourself to him. The Lord is appearing to many now, it's the last days we're living in. Hurry up if you do not believe in God or mock Him please repent of your sins and get to know Him before it's too late, Jesus is coming and will take His children home to heaven do not be left behind during the tribulation which is hell on earth and the mark of the beast. Jesus loves you so much! Please even if you don't believe if you had only one last day is it worth your immortal soul to take that risk?

He is coming, but not as a lamb but as a Lion. I love you Jesus so much!

Santa = Satan

Most people worship the devil on CHRISTmas

Thats why most people are going to hell

The dream you had OP it was a WARNING

Repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart.

Jesus wants a repentant heart

Re: Christmas Eve vision of Jesus
This might help in your thoughts,

Isaiah tells us
50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair (beard): I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is (no beauty that we should desire him).

52:14 As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred(spoiled or disfigured) more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

Then Paul tells us in
Corinthians
11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Maybe you saw Jesus son in your vision, OP.
There will come a time when you believe everything ends.

Re: Christmas Eve vision of Jesus
Not wanting too pour salt on the wounds ,but you said you looked at pics of Jesus ,all the pics are of white dudes ,whereas Jesus wasn't white if you look at the evidence supplied there is no way he would look like the pics ,he was born in Bethlehem which means that no white guy set foot there ,he never spoke English either .5a

Not to say you're wrong, but that Pontius Pilate letter someone (nwo_watcher_911) posted mentions Jesus had golden hair and that he looked different than the others.

Just food for thought.
