Why Isnt This The Main Focus In Modern Science?

Why dont any of the top scientist try to figure out scientifically what happens after death?

Is it because if they disclose this information our society will no longer be the same?

Would this revelation cause a mass awakening in humanity and usher in a golden age?

Why isnt this the most important question in science?
