My family all sick on new years.

it's the super flu. only people who didnt get a flu shot will survive it. the flu shot was the weeding out process; it actually destroys your resistance to the engineered virus.

Yea and I haven't been sick in ten years. I run, lift, eat organic, take vit D etc and so does my fam. I managed to stave it off but I shared a shot glass with my sister inlaw on Christmas and bam! On my death bed.

It's been good though. It forced us to slow down. We just lay around together all day comforting each other. Watching kid flicks. A real bonding time.

I could care less about New Years really. Like my buddies say, that's amateur night.

Vitamin D is VERY important, along with extreme doses of vitamin C..

I myself (and hubby) take large doses of Olive Leaf Extract also. Everyone around us is sick...VERY SICK, but we have been able to hold it off.

Peace, Love & Light to all the families suffering with this awful "bug".. Please take the time and $$.. get some Olive Leaf Extract, and begin BOMBING your system with it..

I have helped many with bad "bugs" over the years with this advice, and they all swear by it now.

Also, please do more research on this, as I have never dealt with a small child this way. And keep in mind that natural substances tend to take longer...It is not an "instant fix". Give it time.

As far as dealing with bad coughs... MULLEIN is a great natural expectorant..REMEMBER... when you cough the crap up from your lungs.. SPIT IT OUT... I am truly amazed at how many people think this action is "disgusting"... but it is the only way to clear the poisons from your body.

My 2 cents.. take it or leave it.

The Husband was sick Sept. Through Nov. "Walking pneumonia". Three or four antibiotics were tried. The only one that had any good effect was erythromycin. He's 63 and never gets sick. Like maybe once a decade. We've been married 41 years and are probably the oldest GLP'ers on record. We blame our children of course.

What's Georgia? I can't see it on my iPad. Everyone around seems to have a nasty flu...for weeks now! 3 children in my daughters 1st grd class had pneumonia. One to the hospital. It's been very nasty. I am doing what I can to keep us well. We made it to the new year though!

Ugh, just got home from the ER...I had a sinus migrane that was making me vomit up my antibiotics. Turns out I have influenza B and a raging sinus infection thrown in, too. I have never, ever been this sick and I've battled viral meningitis in the past. I'm in Colorado, BTW, so if you live here take your vitamin C and be careful!

I clicked the thread to check on the baby.
My daughter and her family went through this during November.No way she could go to work nor hubby either.Said she was so sick she couldnt hold her head up.Felt like they were going to die.Had bloodwork done and hospital confirmed it was a very bad case of the flu.She said she didnt know what kind of flu it was but she had never had anything so bad in her lifetime.
Even now they are feeling back 100% but managing to work etc.

I'm so sorry your little ones have been so sick...there's nothing worse as a parent than to watch them suffer and be able to do nothing to make it better. I hope your entire family is feeling much better soon...hang in there.

My husband and kids haven't come down with it so far, thank goodness. Our youngest was ill a couple of weeks ago, but I don't think it's the same thing because he was only mildly sick.
