GLP had a streaming video service for awhile but they shut it down ...probably because they started to receive too many DMCA take down notices and got to be a pain to run. Only a guess though.

I can't find anything I'm looking for on YouTube anymore. I have no idea what they've done to their search, but it ain't fuckin' working.

It was removed a few weeks ago for some asshole reason, but it's back now.

The buffering issues suck ass enough to where I don't even use it anymore. Funny how their force fed 30 second commercials play just fine, but then you have to wait forever for the actual video to play.

I read on another forum that someone started a new site fuckyoutube.com -- same concept, but not ready yet.

10 years ago YouTube, Facebook, Twitter did not exist. 20 years ago most people had not heard of the Internet and Email.

YouTube is better now than it has ever been. 5 years ago the clips were pixelated and jumpy - if they played at all. Yes YouTube is full of attention whores - who else would bother spend time uploading stuff?

As for social media sties like Facebook, well I do not have an account, so I have never read a Facebook page even though I've been on-line for over 20 years.

Personally I think YouTube has been one of the greatest education tools ever, including Radio and TV. YouTube is one of the few "main stream" websites I view on a daily basis.

But there's this radio program that runs nightly 365 days a year. For the last year I've been able to find it by date and the show acronym. As of fours days ago - bubkus. Now, I actually have to leave YouTube, go to another site that embeds the videos that links me back to YouTube. What kind of fuckery is that?

Youtube is the best, can't find a bigger free music database than youtube, can't keep count on how much great music I found out about through youtube, old classics and such, you never in a million years would know about if you only listen to radio and watch music televison.

Your post is a contradiction. They will never cut off social media "opiate of the masses", and the best tool they have for understanding what the average idiot is thinking. i hate the new youtube too. it too complicated to get to my subscriptions instead they have "what to watch" no , i want to see what ive subscribed to. this has been the worst layout ever. i hope the next one will be better. idk why they keep changing? same with myspace and look what happened. always trying to fix what wasn't broken the first time. i would like them to go back to the layout they had before this one. i can name a lot of problems (for me) with this layout

I do not know what's up with them. but I'm going to stay off of it for a month. I'm usually on it about an hour and a half a day just checking things out. Now it looks like a 16-year-old made my homepage.

My subscriptions are in a list as soon as I go to youtube. I dont have to click a single thing.

Why are people posting on here that YouTube is good? You'd think it were shills but the level of ignorance being displayed is just incredible.

How can people say that something that gives you very little freedom, control, creativity, functionality and customization be good?

Not to mention being forced to watch ads before being able to watch the videos you want to watch, being bombarded by loads of unwanted videos that have no relation to what ever you are currently watching in the first place, and this is meant to be good as well? o.0

Theres probably loads more things that can be added to this list like corporate interests taking over YouTube and bombarding us with that stuff instead of the things that YouTube was actually intended for (people sharing videos with each other, not corporate interests advertising more of their crap to a wider audience).

It cant be the videos making YouTube good, if it were you could just go to any old website that has the videos and watch them there making YouTube useless.

They did that to my brother. He had about 900 subscribers and 70 some videos uploaded. All gone. He had to completely start over.

I didn't lose my channel, but it does seem I'm getting a lot less views. I've had some subscribers tell me they did not see I had uploaded anything in their feeds and the only reason they knew I had something new was by manually checking my channel.

As far as money for ads, I used to make around $1.50 - $2.00 a day and steadily rising. That's chicken feed, but it would have been about $540 - $700 bonus a year just for putting videos up. Not anymore. That came to a screeching halt and now I'm lucky to make 20 cents a day.

Is what it is, I suppose. Complaining won't get anyone anywhere and I've got other things to focus on. YouFool ain't gonna ruin my day.

Youtube isn't too difficult to figure out.
Add whatever videos you like to your favorites.
While logged in, click on the arrow near your name (on the top right) and then click on video manager. On the left side click on favorites, and there ya go.

Actually, it is Jewoogle that owns JewTube, and it is all POo, but the masses are to dumb to see it. They love their slavery and will die fighting for it.
