I saw something very similar around the same time here in Oregon.

A 'blink' is what I likened it to as well.

It was probably something big that just flew by but it was still pretty freaky, lol

Two different sides of the country but at least I don't feel as crazy now

I have seen it other times as well. As have others, I have seen it mentioned on this forum in the past.

I am certain with a little digging one could find the other threads.

This happened to me 2 months ago! Only me and my friend saw it and 3 others didn't. Idk what It is. Here in California

I will say as well there is 'feeling' that comes along with it.

Very similar to a blink, but you didn't blink. It only lasts a split second so if you are not hyper aware or in a less distracting environment, you can miss it.

However, you may still feel it.

Like a click...kinda. Really hard to explain.



Having electrical phenomena with lights carries a similar sensation. Or the phantom 'pops' which occur with thought.

I have had very similar experiences to this Op, mine are like a camera flash but much faster. Its happening a few times a week now and started a couple of months ago. Its happened at work but when i looked around nobody seemed to have noticed, Also had one at night in the bedroom, i actually got up to see if somebody was flashing a flashlight across the window outside? very bizarre.
I'm a printer by trade so my eyes are pretty much spot on (no probs) 20-20 vision :/

It was exactly like it flickered off/on for a second, it was as if the sunlight and all other sources of outside light were cutoff for a split second. I thought I was seeing things until the rest of the family started asking "did you see that too".

It's good to know others have had it happen to them as well, makes us feel a little less crazy, lol

Yes...I will say as well that it is the third time I have noticed it in as many days.

Having seen it previously, perhaps 3 times in total.

Well i guess i just meant that its happened so many times to me it seems natural and nothing out of the ordinary.

What may be ordinary to you, could be extraordinary to another.

Like our OP here, who just experienced it. And I, at the same time across the country.
