Exactly why I'll be flying back up here in 5 months for a weekend so I can return and have another 6 month visa.. Pretty fucking genius, huh? I've got all the bases covered but thanks for the input.  At any one time there are probably thousands of Americans who are illegal in Mexico. The Mexican government does deport if there is overstay on the six month visa. But there are probably tens of thousands who renew every 6 months. I have read that the number of Americans living in Mexico is at least one million. This is a disputed number, no one really knows. I imagine The Mexican Police are not motivated or focused on this violation......which can be dealt with when money changes hands. That would be the only focus by Mexican Police. If your a targeted individual, you would easily get murdered for cheap in Mexico...with the cops as the contractors. |

Yeah there are many there who constantly renew visas.. It's called being a PT (permanent tourist).. Mexico seems to have no problem with it because with those "tourists" comes more money for Mexico.. |
