Ha ha what nonsense.
He is such a vain egotist he's self obsessed that's the only person he is obsessed with. He loves himself and just goes on and on about how he gives and helps others yet acknowledges no ones efforts, especially wos. She grew tired of it. He thought it was fine to torment her about other women and how great they all were to him to get a rise out of her so eventually she believed that he was a grade A prick!
