emerald_glow (OP) User ID: 31028625 United States 01/09/2013 08:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hmm... Wonder what fancy term the meteorologist would Come up with to explain that? You say it fans out all the Way around a central point? It's a little hard to tell from the picture how it continues Beyond what we can see. I know...I had only my cell, plus doggie pulled my hand:-) Not quite from a point, I'd say from a circular area...looks like some kind of explosion Emerald_Glow |

TheUSD23 User ID: 30859943 United States 01/10/2013 12:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm In San Diego as well. Haven't seen anything, the sunsets have been extra amazing lately though. But then again its probably just me taking notice of them. Been getting lots of clouds, which in my opinion is a little strange down here, idk if you would agree or not. Another thing i noticed about the clouds is that they've been extra poofy , yea we do get clouds here not saying we dont... but I'm saying they're never really poofy. I guess the correct term for these kind of clouds is Cumulonimbus clouds [link to prntscr.com] ^that's the only picture i could find on my phone, not a very good picture but in the back you can kinda see them |

emerald_glow (OP) User ID: 31028625 United States 01/10/2013 01:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Overheating of the land is clearly no excuse anymore: temperatures were/are extremely low in the past weeks Emerald_Glow |

Not an "expert" though. Names does not mean much; their role to give a sense of authority to the people make them up, or using them. Emerald_Glow |
