Democrats are big government liberals. Libertarians are small government liberals. Republicans are medium government conservative.

Conservative is mainly a word that they made up that means that they are God-fearing fascists/pawns of the elite.

Liberals want to use other peoples money to legislate laws on citizens to cure problems that they caused with rediculous social problems.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn`t eat meat.
If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.
If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy.
A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.
If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.
If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful.
Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed.
If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.
If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
If a liberal reads this he will delete it and try to ban the use of email for everyone for life.

Damn that is a good question.
In Canada we have a Liberal a Socialist (NDP) and Conservative Party.
Since the 60's the NDP and Liberal Party have grown closer together, ideologically but they are different. The NDP are totally scary but in fact do not hide their desires, which is real scary when you see their support rising.
Now the Liberal, or the Libtards, as you often are called, are very sneaky.
Simply put they are the "Humanist Party" they think of themselves as better educated people, who want the "Law of Man" to replace the Magna Carta.
Liberals are impossible to figure out or put a handle on, because they are without any true values, as humanism is totally about the needs of the individual, as opposed to individualistic values working together freely, as Conservative or free peoples do.
They say this, but do that. And they can justify it (in their own minds)
They support a position today, but, hey the votes are over here now, and wham, what do you know? They support two different positions now.
Wandering all over the place ideologically like that causes cognitive dissonance in the minds of their followers. This is what happens to the mind when it has opposing values and the brain cannot come to terms with the “Error” in logic.
This marks the liberal as a ”Libtard” because of what logical thinkers see as the asinine crap that Liberal politicians and followers put forward as necessary to the survival of the country, and lately the world.
Finally, Liberal no longer means what it once did either as its use is now an irony. (Further enhancing the cognitive dissonance)

The meaning has changed considerably. Thomas jefferson was a liberal. It originally described people who loved liberty. slowly it changed to describe people who make bad life decisions, and love evil.
