Not enough free time to do anything in todays society

I try to be awesome. It's better to be poor and loved in the longest run.

I shovel snow, do my friends dishes, make sure everyone is fed.

Even when I'm pissed off >.<

Dam man people in prison are getting a better deal, free board, free dentists doctors, i hear they get macdonalds on fridays, got em all the giant big screen tvs etc

Some companies are getting rid of corporate email systems in house and their instant messaging counterparts! Employees are living with their Blackberrys or iPhones and are working 20 plus hours per day with no time for themselves. Instead of making them more productive, the constant need to respond/read emails and incoming info on the IM systems has resulted in productivity going down substantially and employees leaving (high level employees who are costly to replace) for calmer, less intrusive work environments. Upper levels are no willing to be interrupted 20 times a day, and then go home and receive emails, comments and constant intruding into their private time at home.

I am messing around on GLP instead of working on my first week assignments for my final semester. I've been cleaning house and playing with my son during the day...I should be going to bed.

I live within my means and don't want or need the latest new gadget,computer,car,clothing etc. I am blessed that I able to stay home and raise my children and spend that precious time at home with them. I think if you live simple and invest most your time in the people in your life who you love, that is what matters most. So when you do come home from work then make sure you are really present.

I once had a job I enjoyed and I made enough to get by.
I was the only employee for most of the five years I worked there.
I was at the top employee position in the company and still people looked down on me for not being more motivated to succeed. Peoples viewpoints on life and work ethics and whats important is skewed.

Try reading "Endgame: The Problem of Civilization" by Derrick Jensen. "Possum Living" too. Check into subjects like Capitalism and the Protestant work ethic. Just a new form of bondage brought over from Europe. Look to the holy scriptures and see who started cities and the beginning of governments.

this is how some wanted it, when everybodys to busy nobody can see whats really going on, makes it harder to do anything about it. where they fucked up this time was none of us have jobs now :D

...sadly, this is spot on, and sadder still...most people will never get to this realization. Because until this realization dawns on them, most people will not fathom that they have the option to change the course of their lives...on purpose.

I wish it were different but there are the cards that we're dealt. It's a beautiful world full of abundance. I know it's trite but we are here for a grand reason. I believe we chose this. We chose our parents. We were born at the perfect time in the perfect place to meet everyone we've come in contact with to evolve.

I like to think that anyhow. It would be horrible if it were all random and we're born again and again in an endless cycle to be fodder for extra-dimensional beings.

When people were forced to work full time 5 or 6 days a week for a decent pay check it was outreageous and you never have time to do anything.

Damn. I feel privileged having on average 17 hrs ( 11 if you take 6 hrs sleep into account) a day free time. Though I have done the hard years already and yeah it sucked at the time.

I got all the time i want but no money in the pocket, so what you get on one side you lose it on the other, but it's good to be out of the matrix, to have plenty of time to walk, to contemplate the sky and the land, to see how people are lost and braindead, to be like an eagle that oversees the land of the slaves, to feel God's presence and witness his signs, finally good times to prepare for the coming global madness, yet i received an email, we're pleased to inform you that we enjoyed your profile but you're not enough of a good slave for the job...lol! life goes on.

I would say most of us have became landless peasants, without land you're a slave, TPTB have suceeded to unplug the human from the biosphere, you live in a box dependant of the local bank and the nearest supermarket, few of us have actually land ownership, many of these land owners have also lost the connections with the biosphere, they do not have the basic idea to garden for food, you see lovely flowers and such but few do produce potatoes, vegetables..., most of the time i see only elders's yards garnished with tomatoes plants, letuces ect...the split is obvious, once the elders will be dead, most of the younger generations will definitely lose it, i talk about what i see here an pieces of the outside world i can see through the interwebz and such.

Greed or the necessity to overcome bad economics even makes some landowners to sell off their land, for wortless paper money or to fade out the down slide to a lower 'class'.

The brains are subverted and will fight to keep the shit hitting the fan, not the opposite, to believe people will wake up and turnaround for the real deal is an illusion, we will go deeper and deeper, it's too late now, therefore setup yourself to dodge bullets and rain drops.
