Employees are living with their Blackberrys or iPhones and are working 20 plus hours per day with no time for themselves. Instead of making them more productive, the constant need to respond/read emails and incoming info on the IM systems has resulted in productivity going down substantially and employees leaving (high level employees who are costly to replace) for calmer, less intrusive work environments. Upper levels are no willing to be interrupted 20 times a day, and then go home and receive emails, comments and constant intruding into their private time at home. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11421136 And with the average salary to time spent working isn't even close to being worth the returns. Let's just see how many hours of the day an average person gives up, not just the work hours but the hours leading up to and after from the moment of waking up to sleep. work 9-5 mon-fri get up at 7am, get ready, get stuck in traffic get home 6-7pm shower, food, shit, check news, small talk with family (these small things add up real fast) sleep 8 hours average, 11pm leaves you with 4 hours free time out of 24, which hardly even counts if you include things mentioned above and if you have OCD forget about free time completely. this is a slavery routine and yet most people are ok with it, wow. Unless you make more than $100,000 a year working is NOT worth it! After the government steals a chunk of your paycheck, bills, rent, power, water, internet, shopping then before you know it you've got fuck all money left except to get drunk on the weekend which is what most people end up doing. Rinse and repeat next week. Dead on OP. DEAD on |

I think if you live simple and invest most your time in the people in your life who you love, that is what matters most. So when you do come home from work then make sure you are really present. To the world I am just a number, but the Lamb of God He knows me by my name. |

Nothing feels so crushingly oppressive than to realize that you're fully responsible for yourself. people may be enslaved by their obligations forced upon them by society, but as a result they are freed from being responsible for themselves as individuals. What can I say? It's a good deal for some. |

Be well I wish it were different but there are the cards that we're dealt. It's a beautiful world full of abundance. I know it's trite but we are here for a grand reason. I believe we chose this. We chose our parents. We were born at the perfect time in the perfect place to meet everyone we've come in contact with to evolve. I like to think that anyhow. It would be horrible if it were all random and we're born again and again in an endless cycle to be fodder for extra-dimensional beings. oi. |

MERITOCRACY User ID: 32247980 United States 01/15/2013 04:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The members of the Old World Order prefer the Pleasure Principle society because this offers the best mechanism for manipulating the dumbed down, doped out, zombified masses. The Old World Order's greed can be indulged without restraint in such a society. Their ability to justify huge disparities in wealth is unchallenged. Wealth is control in id societies. If you have no wealth then you are a nobody with no future. Most people are nobodies with no future, but they have been conned into supporting the system that oppresses them. The new American president will change nothing since change can be effected only from without the system, never from within. It's the system itself that is at fault, and the system - the constitution - does not provide any scope for internal change. So change must come from an external source. Usually, from revolution. But...that is entirely up to YOU... Is-int it? |

Greed or the necessity to overcome bad economics even makes some landowners to sell off their land, for wortless paper money or to fade out the down slide to a lower 'class'. The brains are subverted and will fight to keep the shit hitting the fan, not the opposite, to believe people will wake up and turnaround for the real deal is an illusion, we will go deeper and deeper, it's too late now, therefore setup yourself to dodge bullets and rain drops. |
