Its normal to see the moon sideways randomly, even in the school books you can find dozens of image/illustrations of that on your northern latitudes (USA or Europe) (not). [] Well it's wonderful that you can find these images in school books, however the image that exists over my house is always either a tilted moon or a vertical moon. I look at it every night. No I don't care what images you can post from google. I know what I see. And what I feel is more cause for my belief in something than any information you can present to me. It's kind of like arguing chemtrails, obviously they're real, but still you have people that don't realize.. Waiting for red karma. OK, let's recap what you said? "I look at it every night." Really? YOUR powers of observation are HORRIBLE. Apparently you haven't even noticed that on some nights during the Moon's cycle IT ISN'T VISIBLE AT NIGHT. So taking that into account, you are so sage as to us taking your statement that it isn't right as some sort of truth? WHY can't you friggen Moontards do some research on the Moon's movements before coming here and stating BS as fact? OK, play the shill card now. He's a close-minded tard. He basically admits he's going to base his beliefs entirely on his "feelings," not any facts and evidence anyone can present to him. NO, fail (again) read again the key word is "SEE" with own eyes on the sky, not some shit you keep posting from Apollolo rubbish as proof! . |

Dr. Astro Senior Forum Moderator User ID: 4211721 United States 01/17/2013 03:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's up to you to prove the picture is a fake. Period. By the way, that's not the only one you must prove is a fake: Through the Telescope. First edition. I've talked to Lee Keith myself, he confirmed it was a cheshire moon and that he took that picture from an altitude-azimuth telescope (the same manner in which you see the sky with your naked eye) in the mid-1980's. I accept the evidence and choose to disregard it based on source. You said you would disregard NASA and Apollo based evidence. Now you have decided to automatically disregard evidence from amateur astronomers. When you get to the point that you assume amateur astronomers are lying to you, you're truly off the deep end to the point that you're beyond all help. Anyone who offers you evidence that contradicts your beliefs is simply "in on it" automatically. I assume all is fake and everyone is lying, and prove to myself otherwise. Your picture just didn't do it for me, and no picture would. Get it? Quoting: broOh I get it alright, anyone who offers you evidence that contradicts your beliefs is simply "lying." Thank you for exposing your irrational belief system for all to see. Your entire belief system is the opposite of science, you're supposed to try to disprove your beliefs, not assume anyone who produces evidence that contradicts your beliefs is lying. It's up to you to PROVE that they're lying. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of where the burden of proof lies. |
