I've been hearing the same rumbling booming noises in the Woodstock, GA area for a while now. Some nights I hear nothing, while sometimes its audible nightly. It sounds as if its coming from the South. I've recorded it before and someone on AyTeS made a post about it complete with recordings. It sounds exactly like the noise that the OP of that thread mentioned and he's located in LA. The timing of the mysterious noise is also spot on with when it seems to start here as well; duration in excess of 3-4 hours. I've gone out and sat for a few hours on my laptop and heard it the entire time. It gets louder like a Jet rumbling overhead for a short time and then quiets down then gets loud again and so and so on.

Nice thread B.L... My gut instinct tells me that the boom phenomena may not just be isolated to areas/regions connected to the New Madrid fault. I believe this is also occuring in areas that are not associated with that fault line.

Right now I am more inclined to feel that there is a larger process or 'change' taking place within the Earth's core that is affecting the mantle and crust and leading to destabilization. I don't know the exact mechanics of it but I feel pretty strongly that something larger is afoot and that this is bigger than just the New Madrid fault zone.

Coinciding with this 'booms' phenomena are many reportings of mysterious/bright flashes of light in the sky.

went to sacramento from Carson on hwy 50 then back home on hwy 80...crossing on Auburn Folsom Rd...

Saw tremendous indicators of earthquake...when I lived in Auburn I used to track it cause I could tell when there was activity by the mini rock slides along the roads in the canyons there...

but when I looked to see what earthquakes there had been, there weren't any listed...for the whole week!!!!

I mean it is really easy to tell when there are quakes cause the rocks slide and the earth is bright red in places, or trees tip over or start to lean over the road way on the canyons...

It's hard to miss rocks the size of cantalopes sitting in slide piles along the sides of the road

Correct. Same thing occurs from the ocean floor in the Bermuda Tardangle. Gas bubbles come up and into the air causing planes to lose lift and crash as well as boats sinking from the huge amount of air bubbles in the water during the venting.
