Eventually tar build up in the pipe will make the smoke nastier. I smoke all natural organic tobacco and roll cigs myself. I never smoked normal chem cigs for long before I got on these so I don't know what benefits there are, but I like em a lot. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32398437 I quit smoking cigarettes two years ago to save my health and my deteriorating skin. I only smoked for eight months, but I still remember the addiction. I hated those death sticks, but I needed them. It was horrible. During the cigarette-smoking period, I'd have wrinkles emerging at the edge of my cheek, forehead and at the corners of my eyes. I looked really old after I smoked, and I realized that after a few days without smoking, the wrinkles would disappear. One's skin condition reveals much of a person's health on a visible level, so I took this as an early warning to my body and quit. The interesting thing is, pure tobacco without the cigarette additives seems relatively harmless. During my travels in Asia, I once smoked hashish somewhere it's not outlawed. I stayed there for two weeks, and I was stoned everyday. I mixed the hash with tobacco leaves, and what do you know? Even though I smoked a good amount of tobacco in those weeks, my face actually looked perfectly normal, and I didn't feel the uncomfortable buzz in your head after smoking cigarettes. I still think that inhaling smoke into your lungs to be unhealthy, but I now tend to think that if it's just tobacco itself without the chemicals added by Big Tobacco, it's probably not as bad as they say. So, I'd recommend buying tobacco and a pipe, or a even cleaner device, the e-cig. But pipes are just way classier :D Either smoke or quit... you're just kidding yourself or playing with yourself... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 34134293 ![]() 02/11/2013 05:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know one thing about smoking pipe tobacco. I can smoke a whole pipefull and the second I put the pipe down all I want to do is light up a cigarette. In some way the pipe tobacco doesn't even make a dent in the craving for cigarette tobacco. I've found the same with chewing tobacco, cigars and hooka pipe tobacco. There is something in cig tobacco you just don't get from the other kinds. |
