I cant believe this. WW2 is a huge part of India's history. The only reason they were able to achieve their independence was by using their participation in the war as leverage against Britain. They cut a deal, grant us our freedom and we will fight with you.

Any school child in India knows the importance of WW2 in their history. You cannot study Ghandi without knowing about Hitler.
