I have studied hypnosis and the thumb and index finger together is a common way to reinforce post-hypnotic suggestions. As an example, you have used hypnosis to improve your golf game, you can place your thumb and index finger together to get your body-mind to quickly access the state of mind you learned in hypnosis to play golf better. All advertising is mind control. This commercial is especially blatant if you are familiar with hypnosis.
