I have experienced random, spontaneous OBEs throughout my life, some of which I have been able to verify as being real due to the fact that I was observing real time events happening in my surroundings. Often, I see very scary entities which used to terrify me but now intrigue me. Recently I have been trying to control this, and I ultimately want to be able to do it at will. I've had some success through certain meditation techniques.
Anyone have any good links to sites out there, or books they have read? Also personal experiences, techniques, suggestions and so on are welcome.

When I am put back into my body I usually hear an ear exploding crack and feel like I fell and awake to this .. it happenes to a lot of people and they don't even realize it .. When I start to leave my body, I know from a sound that pounds on my ears .. WAH WAH WAH .. and also there is many, many people talking .. no words just lot's of voices I can't make out .. .. probably doesn't help much .. but my personal experience .. originally it started happening through repetitive night terrors, with lucid dreaming .. and it was a forceful action from me trying to awake myself .. something that was pretty scary at first as a kid .. but when I talked to someone about it they said that's an OBE .. I had no clue!
