Chief Lansdowne has mishandled the Occupy San Diego Protest. He has facilitated the waste of over 2.4 million dollars in 30 days on suppressing free speech at Civic Center Plaza in San Diego.

I live out in semi rural gun country where everyone is armed. We have very low crime rates. Then again 99% are white and Amish.

Get out of San Diego as fast as you can....

Heaven only knows what he considers a "generation" but in a way I'm thankful to hear this may be their timeline.

Why?

1. On a purely selfish basis -because I'm 62 now and probably won't be here much past 80 or 85, if that long. So I probably won't live to see the final culmination of the disarming of America and what happens to the people of this country, once they've accomplished that nefarious goal.

2, On a more practical level - maybe there is still time to get the ideas of our Forefathers and the FRAMERS of THE CONSTITUTION into the minds and hearts of some of the young people today. It won't be easy - you'll be fighting an uphill battle and flying in the face of the bullshit they'll be indoctrinated with in school.

(Does anyone remember the infamous and loosing "WAR ON DRUGS" wherein classroom teachers were telling children that even occasional use of Marijuana was a 'sickness" and people who did so needed to be "helped" before their habit got "out of control" and they did something awful? And some of those poor impressionable children called the police or told their teachers that their parents smoked pot - and the parents were arrested, made to undergo rehabilitation, face prosecution, and lost their children for months or years to a "foster home" while they were "unfit" to be parents because of their occasionally smoking a joint? Yes, that really happened and it happened a LOT.

PARENTS: If you have guns and believe in your right to keep them - do NOT tell your young children where any weapons you may lawfully own are kept, or even that you own them until the kids are well able to reason for themselves and no longer take their teacher's word for something being good or bad/ or evil /good. The kids should have YOUR VALUES - not their teacher's values. And certainly not the values taught them by the public education systems! Spend time with your kids. Explain your point of view. But warn even the little ones to be quiet about Mommie and Daddy thinking differently than a lot of other people do. Fail to do that and you could wind up in court for child abuse, or worse- while the state puts your kids in homes where they are almost certain to be abused and you spend tens of thousands of dollars to defend your good name and get your children back.
