The problem with this picture, is that the Bible never stated, they had 4 heads. It stated, they had 4 faces.

Also Ezekial 10:18

Each winged creature had two faces: A human face looking at the palm tree on one side, and a lion's face looking at the palm tree on the other side.

So although a cherub, may have 4 faces, we see here, when their depicted, they may have less than 4.

From the Bible verses, it doesn't clarify if the cherubs, are sitting on top of, or to the side of the cover. It simply states, their on the ends.

So this doesn't prove he's wrong.

OP, I think it's great that you also consider reading some of the banned books.

But be careful, for instance some of the books, that weren't in the canon, stated, Jesus never died on the cross for our sins, or was even crucified.

we can twist and shake however you want but looking at the description on how the wings were on the cherubs snd how they fly gives a very good picture of how they looked.

The key point again is that

They were not attached to the ark on the sides as Mr WYATT DESCRIBED.

They have 4 wings

They were attached to the cover of the ark

They had four faces of animals

Their wings covered the mercy seat

Here's simple math, that shows the cherubs, are not on top of the mercy seat, but rather to the side of the mercy seat.

Exodus 25:17 "Make an atonement cover of pure gold--two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.

So if the mercy seat, is two and half cubits long, that means, if the cherubs are on top of the mercy seat, their wingspan which the bible states are touching, would also add up to roughly 2 and half cubits, are less.

But, scripture states:

2 Chronicles 3:12 Similarly one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched the other temple wall, and its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the first cherub.

So again simple math tells you since it's wings are 5 cubits long, this far exceeds the length of the mercy seat, meaning the cherubs are on the ends and to the side of the mercy seat. Therefore Ron's depiction, showing the cherubs on the end and to the side, would more closely match this description.

I'm not twisting anything, the bible is stating the depiction, had 2 faces.

Now you can twist this however you want.

Cherubim first appear in the Bible in the Garden of Eden, to guard the way to the Tree of life.[1]

In Isaiah 37:16, Hezekiah prays, addressing Yahweh as "enthroned above the Cherubim" (referring to the mercy seat).

Cherubim feature at some length in the Book of Ezekiel. When they first appear in chapter one, when Ezekiel was "by the river Chebar", they are not called cherubim until chapter 10, but he saw "the likeness of four living creatures". (Ezekiel 1:5) Each of them had four faces and four wings, with straight feet with a sole like the sole of a calf's foot, and "hands of a man" under their wings. Each had four faces: The face of a man, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle. (Ezekiel 1:6-10)

In Ezekiel chapter ten, another full description of the Cherubim appears with slight differences in details. Three of the four faces are the same; man, lion and eagle; but where chapter one had the face of an ox, Ezekiel 10:14 says "face of a cherub". Ezekiel equates the Cherubim of chapter ten with the living creature of chapter one by saying: "This is the living creature (חיה) that I saw by the river of Chebar", in Ezekiel 10:15, and in Ezekiel 10:20 he said: "This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim."

In a psalm of David that appears in 2 Samuel 22:11 and Psalms 18:10, David said that the LORD "rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind,".

The words Cherub and Cherubim appear many other times in the holy scriptures, referring to the Cherubim of beaten gold on the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant, and images on the curtains of the tabernacle, and in Solomon's temple, including two Cherubim made of olive wood overlaid with gold that were ten cubits high

5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

If they were on top of the mercy seat, here's one explanation, to explain how both their wings are 5 cubits long, yet the length of the mercy seat is 2 and half cubits in width.

The wings would have to be really high, or rather arched and touching in an angle, almost similar to a triangular shape.

This is only speculation. We see how one can read a description, yet still come up with various illustrations.

bible exodus 37

6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

7 And he made two cherubim of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;

8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubim on the two ends thereof.

9 And the cherubim spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubim.

Take up your arguement with God not my word but his and all proof been given.

So ask mr wyatt also why is his cherubs wings are not 5 cubits according to your post

Yea, that doesn't' explain the math.

The seat is 2 and half cubits long.

While each of the angels wings are 5 cubits long, and touching.

You are reading and confusing scriptures solomon built a temple and had cheribms setup in the sanctuary
