Ive noticed a strong correlation between pot smokers and consp theorists/paranoid types

Although I do think pot smokers tend to be more into conspiracies than non smokers. I don't know if it "expands" your mind, but it def makes you think about things from another perspective, or angle.

Most serious conspiracy theorists, that are prepared to admit what they think, are almost always pot smokers.

Many non-smokers are CT's too, but they do not like to open up so much about it.

Subtle clues, and usually that is all they feel secure about giving.

Weed expands your mind in the sense that you stop caring about BS, and concentrate on more "human" things.

ie you stop GAF about reality TV, or a new car, and wonder what it would be like to climb a mountain, or write a book.

you just lost all credibility (if you had any to begin with)

and that can develop into life-destroying full blown amotivational syndrome

You can create a correlation out of thin air but that doesn't make it accurate.

First off I'm a regular toker and I'm not really interested in researching 'conspiracy theories'. Once you have come to grips with the fact that bad things are going on behind the scenes and that 'reality' is not what it's presented to be, then what is the point in continuing to immerse yourself in researching individual conspiracy theories? When you KNOW and acknowledge that bad things are happening behind the scenes there is little motivation to continue to seek out confirmation.

It's like finding undeniable proof that your spouse is cheating on you and then continuing to try and catch him/her in the act and find evidence of the fact. The damage has already been done and no amount of continued investigation will change what has been uncovered. At least that's where I'm at.



Are you a pot smoker? Do you have intimate knowledge of how marijuana affects the body and do you understand from first hand experience? If the answer is NO then it's understandable why your comments are missing the mark. Plus you are making generalizations based on stereotypes and no amount of engaging in that practice and trying to conveniently lump everyone into the same group will ever bring you any closer to discovering the 'truth' of the matter.

I probably have more personal experience with weed than just about anyone else here.

Ive even grown and have even been arrested for growing it.

Im clean now from all drugs and Ive seen both sides back and forth many times.

Mind you, I happen to think that the term 'conspiracy theorist' has lost it's actual meaning has become more of a label used to ridicule and belittle those who question official stories.

Mainstream media - news, current affairs programmes (the word programme is a big clue in and of itself), tv drama, films, all deliberately portray any such persons as being either a sandwich short of a picnic or an unemployed pot smoker, or a combination of the two and worst. And of course some undoubtedly are. But, let's face it, that will be the only way the mainstream media portrays the conspiracy theorist.

All so those who don't have the capacity to think for themselves (and probably never will be able to) will happily keep on swallowing whatever they are spoonfed by the controlled MSM without batting an eyelid, or daring to question.

The more ridiculous they make the 'conspiracy theorist' look (think the radio ham guy in 2012 for starters), the more likely it is that the sheep (who are far and away the masses) will distance and disassociate themselves with any kind of thinking that doesn't toe the official line, because clearly only a crackpot would dare to question and think differently, according to what MSM would have you believe.

It's an extremely simple concept, yet one that is clearly devastatingly effective.

The answer. Who knows? Turning off television sets is a starter. Don't buy newspapers. Don't feed this crap, don't perpetuate it, don't buy into it.

I was growing hydro a decade ago and had a gun shoved into my face by a cop as I was getting out my car.

I was back growing a few years later.

Every time I was on it, every conspiracy theory seemed to fit just right. When I would stay off it for a while, I realized how stupid I was for believing nonsense. And then I would start back smoking again, and the conpiracy theories seemed to draw me back in. Every freaking time.
